so! tolliver is starting today, we get to see harris play, KCP is back, etc.

D-MO and thornton didn't make it to Washington for shootaround and it looks unlikely that they'll get cleared to play in time (joel Anthony has to get cleared as well for any of them to play).

Can't wait to see what Tobias brings. If we lose I won't sweat it as the team needs time to gel.

Is Markieff playing for Wizards?

I believe I read traded players have 48 hours to report to new team for physicals and the like. Is Philly keeping Joel? He'd be great mentor for their young bigs. Even be worth the TO of $2.5M next season.

Also we really have to do our due diligence on Motiejunas' back - make sure that all checks out for the first rounder we're giving up.

I just read that DMO is in NYC seeing a back specialist today. Keith Langolis reported that it was similar to the injury JJ Redick had and has been ok with.

Every back injury is different, not to mention JJ is a outside shooter, DMo is a 7ft PF/Ce. I like the idea that his agent used to be Arn Tellem though, who would have still been his agent when he had his back issues and surgery.

we have been slipping alot recently would be nice to use this game as sort of a way of getting back to what we were doing earlier in the season. With KCP out and the new acquisitions we made it might be kind of difficult. Hopefully Harris come put up some solid scoring tonight

If Kieff plays, and John wall keeps playing out of his mind, this one may be tough as were short handed. Unless Tobias goes nuts...

Bench is Blake, Hilliard, Stanley, Tobias, Baynes.

...that actually sounds good. Adding D-Mo and Thorton is sick.

I love our team!!!

Yeah for a second I felt we were short handed then I saw Harris there haha. We have a starter off the bench tonight. I hope he plays well enough for Stan to leave him in there. I know Drummond is coming out playing hard tonight along with KCP on Wall. I hope Jackson scores a bunch and proves he's better than Wall. I'm really excited for tonight's game

Markieff will not be playing tonight. We hope we can get on track tonight. With the injuries in Chicago, Miami and Charlotte we have a decent change at the 6th seed. But we need to gel quickly and stop the skid tonight

We are playing a little weaker than before in starting Tolliver and Blake the primary PG back up rather than Ersan and Jennings. Of course we'll be upgraded once Harris is starting and DMo and Thornton get here - but Stan's idea of easing acquired players into line-up could cost us some wins initially. Will be good to have KCP back though - very important.

Best part of this article is at the end when Marcus Morris weighs in on the new additions. He also gives a brief scouting report on DMO from their 5 minutes in Houston together

Pretty unfortunate timing on this game. It's about as close to "must win" as you can get this time of year. These head-to-head matchups can move you up or down pretty quickly.

SVG said Thorton will in no way take minutes from Stanley Johnson coming off the bench. Vince Ellis said he gets the feeling Thorton won't play play much. But Jeff Bower says...he gets buckets and he'll help off the bench.

I took SVG's comments as Stanley and Thorton play different positions...that's all.

Anyone think Vince Ellis hates his job? Haha. He seems very anti-Pistons lately.
