Going for players similar in style and ability

Ben Wallace - DeAndre Jordan
Rasheed Wallace - Chris Bosh
Tayshaun Prince - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Rip Hamilton - Manu Ginobli
Chauncey Billups - Kyle Lowry

Thoughts?

Maybe Beal instead of Ginobili?

2004 Hamilton wasn't that similar to 2016 Ginobili in terms of ability.

There's no Ben Wallace in today's NBA.

Yep. However, some combination of Draymond Green & Andre Drummond is probably a decent comparison.

Rip wasnt much of a 3pt shooter though. Rasheed compared to Bosh is just wrong. Hmmmm. I like this thread, good one.

I'm not sure there is a shooting guard just like Rip right now, either. A guy who was great at moving without the ball, and a great motor, and no ability to create a shot with the ball in his hands. He had such specific skill sets and big limitations.

It seems I remember him catching passes farther out from the basket and slithering his way in a bit for a mid-range jumper. But as far as pure handles and driving to the basket, not so much.

I like this.. mine would be..

Ben - Drummond
Rasheed - Draymond
Tayshaun - Batum (pre-injuries)
Rip - ??? (maybe Klay, or a consistent KCP)
Chauncey - Mike Conley

There's really no Ben or Rip in today's nba. Closest to Chauncey currently is likely Kyle Lowry...both use their body well, score extremely efficiently, get to the line a lot and shoot the ball well from 3 while acting as the floor general.

Not really a Rasheed either, but Bosh is the closest to him i can think of stylistically. I'd say:

Chauncey: Kyle Lowry
Rip: JJ Redick (same off ball movement/curling action but shoots threes instead)
Tay: Batum
Sheed: Bosh
Ben: Draymond
