First things first, bring in a two guard. Even if its John Jenkins just so we have a backup option. I would cut Anthony and bring in jj Hickson for depth. This failed trade is a blessing if dmos back is that bad. Plus keeping the first. Sucks to not have Thornton though. He seemed to want to be here or not be with Houston. Either way

Maybe sign Jordan Crawford when the CBA season is over? Seems like a decent back up combo guard. He'd at least be able to fill out the bench depth a bit. he's also from Detroit.

find the best back up PF you can during this buyout season, trade the 1st this offseason for something decent and see what 10 mil? In salary cap gets you.
