Ummm, we are at home this game... I'm always confused why you list teams the way you do in your titles.

We need this game. Not really to beat the Raptors, but to keep our winning streak going, bring some fans back into the Palace, and get back into the playoff picture.

Although, quieting Raptor fans is always a worthwhile result as well.

Like phenomenonsense said, I like to list the Pistons first so I say Pistons vs. Team X for home games and Pistons @ Team X for away games.

Best of luck on the season and hope the Pistons make the playoffs it is hard getting sand kicked in your face as the Raptors are overly familiar with. But it is a tough match up with the Raptors and with the large number of Raptor fans that attend it negates any hometown advantage. SVG has done a good job in fitting pieces together but Toronto is on a mission.

Drummond needs to put Valanciunas in his place today. Drummond is by far the superior player but he lets this gump sit and outplay him too much.

Need to set the tone defensively for any chance to win. Can't let their backcourt get going, as that is really all I'm worried about with Toronto. Our front court is pretty superior to theirs.

If Drummond plays with INTEREST and stays in the game, the Pistons can beat ANYBODY! Here's to hoping they got for 4 in a row!

Love it. I called it that Drummond is going to manhandle Monroe last night and I'm calling the same thing on the weaker Val. Their front court is about to get pummeled tonight. It's just a matter of keeping up with the backcourt and I think KCP will step up again tonight as he does against hard games. If Marcus is hot again tonight, it'll be a win. Harris matched up against Scola? Lol we're bigger and quicker up front. It's a matter of their backcourt and their depth. If Drummond wins this one with his defense, he'll be the best center in the league past Cousins. His defense has been outstanding lately

When Trump is President all this will stop!

Actually, I'm descended from Canadian "wetbacks" (no offense to anyone) and still have a lot of relatives in Ontario. I root for the Raptors when they're not playing the Pistons.

I live in Toronto currently it's tough being a Pistons fan here.

I'm hearing some Raps fans saying they should rest Lowry and Derozan against us and still win lol.

Fun game tonight. The Raptors are very difficult to enjoy because of their fan base here on realgm. Some are classy and fun while others (seemingly overwhelming majority) of them are hyperactive 12 year old tank commanders. Just horrible.

Match up's are very interesting in this game and I give the edge to the Raptors not because of talent (the Pistons starting 5 is just absurdly talented) but because of experience. They have two below average starters and one the coach hates (val) but their bench is in a different world then Detroits right now.

Pistons have the best starting lineup without question but a lack of experience (what 4 games in?) And injuries having decimated the bench the starters will have to play 38+minutes in this one to come out on top.

Back to back just almost dooms us. Look for the team to run out of gas somewhere late in the 3rd.

Well, finding someone to say something stupid is usually pretty easy. They have been hot of late, so I'm sure the less restrained Rap fans are feeling their oats. Give them their due, the Raps are pretty good! Pistons will need to be on their game to get a win.

Well its a confluence of events here.

1.)Raptors are red hot right now. It doesn't matter how good or how bad a team is when they hit a stride any team is tough to beat.

2.)Pistons now matter how talented are a brand new group. Mistakes are going to happen. Bad turnovers can doom a team when the game is on the line.

3.)Injuries. The Pistons have the more talented starting lineup but after that it's a sheer cliff because if the injuries to our two key reserves in Johnson and Tolliver.

4.)Back to Back. This is the ultimate killer. Rested good battle hardened team VS brand new young and tired team usually=disaster.

Can the Pistons win? Of course and that's due to the starting group. They are immensely talented and incredibly versatile. I'm hopefull they come out strong and build a lead as its a lot easier to hold an 8-13 point lead when your tired then come back.

We'll see.
