Dre for Cousins?

Realistically, Dre would have to be involved for the Kings to consider moving him here.

No, Dre is a better prospect.

Fixed that for you.
Cousins: can hit free throws, has a jump shot, can pass, apparently can even hit 3's now, rebounds well.
The team would have another offensive weapon as Andre can't do much besides collect lobs or bunny hooks when he has excellent post position. Cousins would hit all those free throws. He has distance and shoots as well as Mook even though he is a center and not a SF. Team gets amazingly better day one, without even practicing.

I think it's easier to rein in an ridiculously talented some times out of control emotional player than it is to try and motivate/fire up a temperamentally passive/laid back/just-happy-to-be-on-the-team player.
I voted that Sacto would have to throw something in, mostly because Cousins needs to be moved out of there and Dre is the best young center they'd get offered back. But I'd so a one-for-one if push came to shove.

Because Reggie and Mook don't have value league-wide the way you think and a lottery 1st in a weak draft doesn't move the needle. Also, while Cousins can shoot well for his size he's too slow to guard most power forwards especially stretch 4's, so what he gives you on offends he would give up on defence.
If be willing to trade Dre for cousins and their 2017 1st round pick (unprotected)

I think Cousins is a better talent, but I have no interest in building a team around him. Even on his best behavior, his locker room is a trainwreck.

We also need to remember contract situation. We likely control Dre for years to come while Boogie has two more seasons before he could be a UFA.

What makes Cousins so special? He seems like THE trade target on Real GM.
People are aware he's never won yeah? How many owners, coaches and team mates has he had?
At what point does he take responsibility & ownership of the locker room and DEMAND professionalism of his team mates?
Can't demand it if you don't give it

How many playoff games have the Pistons won in the last 5 years? Cousins is on a team like that his whole career. I'd be pissed too. The owner has mental problems (4 on 5, play one guy back for cherry picking?). Coaches change all the time, etc. Team wants "professionalism" and gets Rando and Gay?
If Lawrence Frank was your coach your whole career you would flip out too.

I don't give Cousins all the blame for the Kings not winning, but he is 100% responsible for his actions.

I want no part of Cousins. He is far and away more talented than Drummond, but man, all that baggage. How well do you think he would respond to SVG? No, the dude is a head case, and would bring the team down, despite being immensely talented and the perfect fit skill set wise.

I like the path we are on, but Cousins is a huge talent. But considering the risks with his attitude, I think we need to get something else in return. I like ADub's idea of getting back their first.

You guys criticize Dre because of his lack of effort on defense yet want Cousins who gives less effort and only cares about points and getting his.

I like Cousins, but I'd rather have Drummond for the next 5 seasons than 2 seasons of Cousins. He's a free agent in 2018, and it's unlikely he will stay, as many teams will be interested in signing him.

Cousins is a 5 star offensive player and a gritty defender, when motivated.
Drummond is an unreliable offensive player and an erratic defensive player. Only thing in which he outplays Boogie is collecting rebounds over rebounds.

In terms of talent yes. I'd say the difference between Dre and Cousins is Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace. Who's better? Ben Wallace. Who's more talented? Easily Rasheed. Dre is an incredible player and there's nobody like him out there and most importantly he's a good kid! I can say KAT might actually be just as good as Cousins later. But nobody is like Dre. He's unique. If I make this trade, it would have to be after next season. Dre is still growing. He hasn't reached his ceiling and that's mind blowing to me!

Dre has enormous athletic potential, but I'm afraid he has not half the heart of the champion and the desire Ben had.

This basically. Im not convinced someone as volatile as Cousins would stay here, but he is significantly more talented at this point than Dre.
