These guys make every season more enjoyable. Love them as our team.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

No doubt, one of the better broadcast teams in the league.

Wish I could have heard them for the playoffs, but had to watch national coverage due to being out of the region. I kept saying "count that baby and a foul" throughout the series regardless.

It really is true. I rely on streams and see chats and comments. A constant is people being surprised to how unbiased ad truthful our commentators are. They dont get a lot of flash because they aren't gigantic names outside of MI, but when people get to listen to them call a game it's nothing but admiration.

I think they are the best in the league hands down. I watched the National broadcasting though during the playoffs cause I was interested to hear more of a outside perspective of our team.

They are some of the best I have listened to. Better than most national guys, IMO. It just kills me to hear George's voice on Sparty football highlights.

The best part about their broadcasts is that they show as much energy for a great play by the opponent as they do for the Pistons. If there's a steal and breakaway thunder dunk by the opponent they don't do the "Ugh and it's a steal and a dunk the other way...grumble grumble" thing.

i'd definitely not enjoy watching piston games as much. That is a fact and pretty telling their impact. Even other posters from other teams love our broadcast crew.

Sometimes, listening to Blaha is like listening to the nicest but biggest Pistons homer on RealGM. But, in a good way. The guy just loves his Pistons that much.

Imagine being the commentator of something you love that much.

greg is the better of the two imo. hes less bias and it just bothers me that as long as blaha has been around hes still not a smart basketball mind. but they are indeed a great team. i wouldnt trade them for anyone.

I can't imagine the Pistons w/o Blaha's voice. Greg is easily the worse commentator and the way he backed Baynes all season was terrible.

After living in Vegas for 2 years, I miss them more than some of my family (not immediate family, like cousins and such). They really are great at what they do

Great commentators, every time I couldn't have seen the game through them it was a little bit worse game.
Heat, Rockets and THUNDER commentators gave me AIDS.

They're both awesome. Anyone that thinks otherwise, do yourselves a favor and watch a game from the:

Warriors commentators
Boston commentators
Nuggets commentators

Pay special attention to the Celtics & Warriors color commentary guys...they will complain more than a typical realgm poster in a live game thread if their team doesn't get every single call, and when the opposing teams do anything exciting they will show such a pathetic level of enthusiasm that they might as well mute their mics.

Thunder and Rockets commentators... That's crazy homerism even for a 12 years old kid.
