I like it but I wish they would change that stupid font. I like plain looking logos though so obviously the Bad Boys logo looks good to me.

My guess is its the transparancy logo IE the logo you see in "DetrOit Basketball"

Its not going to be anything you see as merchandise.

I think it would look sweet on the Chrome, but on white, bleh. I like the old logos, but I agree at least give it a different font. Make it somewhat distinguishable from the Bad Boys.

RETRACTION. sportslogos.net retracts their story. There's no new logo.

Well, it's good that it got retracted, since those logos are terrible. But our current logo is awful as well, hopefully we will get something better than what some college intern made up during their lunch break.

The fact remains they were 1 of three teams that did not submit a logo for next season. We'll find out within a couple of weeks what's going on.

Pause the video at 23 secs. I think that would be a cool logo, maybe change the colors to Pistons colors of course and underneath the skull have it say Detroit Pistons.

This would be a lateral upgrade at best even if it was real.

Our current logo sucks. Our font sucks, and our colors are boring. Gores needs to spend for an actual refresh that reflects the modern times and our new era in SVG basketball.

As a car guy/Bad Boys concept lover, I'm sticking to the skull/pistons crossbones logo. I'd love to see that.

It seems I'm in the minority, but that logo is awesome. Hope it's just being pushed back to 2017 for the Nike uniform takeover.

You know what? F**k it. I don't remember which poster was generating the skull and pistons crossbones stuff, but get in touch with me via PM. Obviously I can't sell my own shirts that have "Detroit Pistons" on them, but I'll do the legal research regarding how far you can go without infringing on the copyright. I'll grass roots this mofo into a better logo.

Bring the horse logo back.

We need an updated logo in the worst way imo
I like the idea of using an automotive just to differentiate from all the other logos that are starting to look the same.
I liked the one they used on the black and red training shirts. It was two Pistons crossed over. Looked cool.

Exactly. The team is called the Pistons. How about using PISTONS in the logo? Crazy, I know.
