Kid had a pretty big year at just 22 making his first All-Star and now 1st All-NBA teams. Doesn't this mean he gets more money now?



1st Team
LeBron/Kawhi/DeAndre/Curry/Westbrook

2nd Team
Durant/Draymond/Cousins/CP3/Lillard

3rd Team
PG/Aldridge/Drummond/Klay/Lowry

He wont make more money. To get the 30% of the cap max instead of the 25% he'll likely get, you either need to make 2 all nba teams, start in 2 all star games, or win MVP.

Good for Dre though, a nice honor.

Why is Anthony Davis not on any of the three teams?

So Andres max is 23 mil a year...if so damn that's a lot of money. Andre must be feeling good right about now.

Wow.. I would have never guessed this. Wasn't expecting it either. Figured his FT's killed it. He's accomplished quite a bit for someone we all complain about at times.

Drummond had the most votes of the players on the 3rd team.

If Drummond could hit FTs at even a mediocre rate, he'd be the most dominant big in the league. Teams didn't go to regularly putting the Pistons in the penalty just for fun. It was often the only way to contain him, and sadly it worked pretty well.

^I read through their thread and most of them don't even have their information straight, claiming Dre made it over the likes of Milsap/Davis. Those guys are PFs and weren't even competing with him for the spot. Then you have posters acting like Valanciunas and Horford were more deserving, when in reality Dre had a better season than both.

I am 100% for removing positions on the all NBA teams. I think it should be the best 5, 6-10, and 11-15 best players in the league that year. With that said, with the current setup Dre was completely deserving of an all nba spot. Quite honestly right now I think KAT is the best center in the league after Cousins, but we made the playoffs while the TWolves got a lotto spot and Dre should be rewarded accordingly.

It's so bad, I know they want Val to be better then him (who I actually really like) but he just haven't shown enough yet. He plays a role like Drummond did his first two years without getting touches which really makes things like PER and TS percentages look good but they aren't very big options offensively.

Drummond is ranked in the top ten in FG% and is like top 2 in FGAs doing it amongst centers. His bad FT shooting and playing volleyball with offensive rebounds are what even let a guy like Val have the slight edge in some advanced stats but Dre is the better prospect on both sides in my opinion. He's also the best rebounder in the league too which helps
