We did this last year with pretty decent turnout results so I'll get it up running again. Since Detroit picks at 18 this year and not 8 I will run it until the 20 are voted on instead of the top 10 like last year. The draft is on June 23rd so there should be enough time to get all of them in. Each poll will run for 24 hours, but I will start the next vote a bit earlier if there is an overwhelming majority. The most poll options you can have at one time is ten so I'll list nine prospects along with the other (please specify) option. Make your choice for Detroit's big board based on value, fit, or whatever. Here we go!
Who's your pick for the #1 player on Detroit's big board?

Simmons.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Ingram. Simmons might have a little more potential, but its hard take a possible "headcase" with the #1 pick.

Simmons. That kind of vision is rare from a big. He'll benefit greatly from better talent around him.

Ingram
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

I went with Simmons. For Detroit in particular a potential elite scorer like Ingram is highly tempting, but Ben is a better prospect overall in my opinion. His defense and playmaking ability would be incredible for this Pistons team.

I went with Ingram because of the shooting. Any bigman that has insane length, size, and good athleticism that can shoot is an auto-win for me.
Similar to the KATs and the A. Davis of the worlds.

I think you're confusing Ingram with someone else. He's a SF all the way. Well, maybe with a bit of PF mixed in with the way the league is trending but in no shape or form is there a similarity with Anthony-Towns or Davis. Those guys are "true" bigs.

Ingram's a SF? Really?
I always thought he was destined to play small ball PF so I said bigman. Shows how little homework I've done on the top 2.
