Even though this was intended for the Knicks, lots of good info on diffewrent guards that will be free agents this summer:

If the seth curry we saw in the final games of the season is gonna be that same curry from now on then he'll be the best pure PG and shooter out of all those names in that list

It's such a small sample size of competent play for a guy that will be 26 by the first game of next season though. He's too much of a gamble to make him a priority free agent signing when the backup point guard position is a pretty important position for the team and a big area of need.

If the Pistons draft somebody at 18 and they feel he will be close to cracking the rotation right away Seth wouldn't be a bad investment. He can play with Reggie and might be able to handle some facilitating duties for the second unit. Otherwise I don't think anybody could feel good if Curry was the main option there.

Agree. That's when (good) coaches minds go beyond our eyes. Coaches like Svg who knows it's own system knows what kind of players will shine in it just like he did with Marcus. But at this point yes it's just me wanting that same curry in a piston uniform running the second unit :'(

Is Seth Curry a top 10 three-point shooter in the NBA? I'd probably say yes. What needs more convincing is his ability to run a team as a PG... Until the end of last season, no one thought he could pile up assists like that. His ball handling is not good enough, but who knows if he works at it all summer. I have a feeling someone is going to pay him way too much anyway, so we'll find out whether or not it was a fluke. As much as I'd be entertained if that team was Detroit, it's probably better if we don't take that risk.

I'm somewhat intrigued by Langston Galloway from the Knicks. Seems like he and Reggie could play together and the one or two times I have warched him play seems like he could shoot.

I'd go for Galloway too. Solid 2 way PG

Forgot about him, He has some talent that SVG could work with and have him reach his potential.

Last summer, Seth Curry played on like 2 Summer League teams and still didn't make a roster like he did every summer before that. Just because he played good at the end of the season on a tanking team in meaningless games doesn't mean is a rotation player on a good team. SVG would rather take an aging Vet than risk money on that any day of the week. He has always had older vets as backups throughout his coaching career. Always. (Duhon, Anthony Johnson, Alston etc etc)
