Brian Wright, who was here under Stan Van Gundy and hired away by SA to join their FO in 2016, will be the new GM in San Antonio.
But we got Stefanski!

I’m not sure if this was intended as sarcasm, but if it was, it sure is ironic.

Re: Around the League
ESPN player rankings in. Griffin at #23 and Drummond at #52. No other Pistons in the top 100.
Means nothing, I suppose. Those rankings are probably close to accurate. Some might think Dre is underrated but I don't.

I dont like they put someone like Siakam ahead of Blake. Sure Siakam plays Defense and all but Blake does so much more with the ball on such a bigger role.

Well, they do try to project what the players will do this season, not just assuming they'll do what they did last season.
They're probably projecting an expanded role for Siakam and improved numbers along with taking into account his defense.
One spot ahead of Blake doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

We'll see about that how he handles a role as a actual option. Look at Blakes usage and how many more FG and 3 pt attempts he has while being a main focus of a defense dealing with so many double teams.
Siakam is a role player on offense barely creating or even attempting the long ball. To think his numbers are just gonna jump like that could be very false.

GRIII has been named Golden State's starter following Kevin Durant's exodus. Step up or giant step up?

Yeah, I noticed that too.
It actually gives you a random one. Sometimes basketball, sometimes baseball, sometimes football or hockey. Why they made this choice I have no idea.

I’m not even getting a random one. All I get is a huge embedded add.

Re: Around the League
Man, an absolutely dizzying amount of extensions right ahead of the start of the season here.
Mostly restricted guys, but I thought for sure Sabonis or Brown or Heild would be traded.
This free agent class is an extremely weak one. Hard to imagine Dre opting in when there's nobody else to spend money on this offseason.

Chicago's team is a joke. It's unnaceptable to lose to that team.

I remember when we had a person on our board say that Monroe would get not one, but multiple quadruple doubles. Between him and Stuckey = Harden, we'd be the odds on championship favorites if only we kept those two guys.
