SURVEY: Piston All-Time Fantasy League

Post#1 » by Laimbeer » Tue Jun 21, 2016 6:01 pm

This survey is designed to determine how many people are interested in playing the next game, how soon we might start it, what twist (if any) we put on the player pool, and how strictly we should enforce time limits during the game.

Just a note, I could run the next one or would welcome someone else doing it if they would like.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I like the idea of calling it the Michigan All-Time Fantasy League, and including players who were playing college ball in Michigan.

How about a panel of three judges who aren't participants? I'd do it, and there are a couple of others who seemed to judge all the matchups who didn't have teams.

I'll probably sit this one out. I'm involved in a draft on another forum and don't really feel like doing 2 at once. Good luck though.

Massive gap between Magic and the next best player if you're doing an all-Michigan draft though.

Judging by the reaction I'd suggest waiting a couple months, so you guys don't get off the hook that easy. 8-)

As for the Magic thing, maybe we could even that out some and do something different by going with an auction format.

How about a draft of current NBA players

10 dudes play, we all pick 5 guys...

Would be a interesting team building situation

No problem with it, not sure you're getting 10 guys though. I'd be in to play and wouldn't care who ran it.

If you realy want to expand the talent pool you can also go with Michigan high school as a criteria.

Other example could be

4 pistons 4 NCAA Michigan and 4 Michigan High school kids.
