Harkless has been used a lot at PF as a versitile defender 6'9" with 7' wings

I really doubt pistons have any interest in Harkless.

I'm almost scared to sign anyone now. All our players are currently locked up on great contracts right now in this insane market. It would just feel nasty signing a backup PG or something to the biggest contract on the roster lol.

Makes no sense that the first thing they would do is sign Andre. That would kill our capspace and defeat the purpose of not just extending him last offseason.

They will probably just agree to a max deal with Dre like the Wizards just did with Beal but wait till after they sign other guys to actually do the deal.

I assumed that would be the plan all along, was remarking on what was said in the OP.

These are simply rumors to generate discussions... I agree with you these moves don't seem to be priority first moves... A solid PG makes the most sense.
But this is part of the fun weeding out the realty from rags promoting click bait

If i'm SVG, I'm only doing very ST to one year deals if possible.

Keep our salary table flexible and wait for the big deal/trade to come along. It isn't going to happen this year unless D Wade wants to join us.

Yeah whoever we're getting is getting paid mad money. We need to offer Horford his 5 year contract sign and trade. He's literally the only player that's worth that much money.

You can't do the 5th year on S&T's anymore.

It's been agreed to since last season. It won't be signed until everything else is completed though.

As for Thomas Robinson... I like his young athletic legs. Even though he hasn't lived up to his top 5 pick status, we didn't draft him at #5 and if he had, we wouldn't be able to sign him. I like him as a big off our bench. I hope SVG can work it out.

Depending on the contracts, I think I would be pretty happy with that result.

Nicholson, Terrence Jones or Dwight Powell would be nice

Well TRob certainly doesn't shoot with range

This might be a good year to let the majority of teams eat up there future cap.

I would rather we sign Harkless and Nicholson than TRob who is straight garbage. With Harris, Harkless, and Nicholson we will have all of the Magic's power forwards from 2012.


We should have just traded our first pick and some filler to the Suns for Markieff when we had the chance. He's on a good contract for 3 seasons and a better player than the guys we drafted or will sign this offseason.
