Who could we get to play PF at 10M a year that is better than Teletovic?

SVG better bring in Anderson or Horford bc we have a more attractive lineup than the trash Bucks line up and Teletovic should have wanted to come here instead of Milwaukee

No i really wanted Teletovic on the Pistons

One of the best 3Pt shooters in the league would have looked great next to Dre

And at 10M who does SVG have in mind that is BETTER than Teletovic at that great of a bargain? No one unless we hit big on Horford

He would've been a nice plan B to Horford.

Other bad shooting teams are addressing their needs (Bucks-Tele/Grizz-Parsons), while we sign more bad shooters...

Teletovic isn't a better player overall than either Harris or Morris. He wouldn't start and probably wouldn't be playing a ton of minutes next to Drummond. If the Pistons are bringing in someone who's not a talent upgrade over who they have it's going to be a reserve that adds something different to the rotation. Like a mobile defender that can switch between guarding power forwards and stretch fives.

This 100%. Tele would be nice but he would not see starters minutes and replace Harris in the lineup.

Sfballa I agree I would have wanted him too, and push Tobias to SF. Morris and Stanley off the bench. Or just let it all sort out in camp. He was one of my top guys since he is older, shoots well, and I thought would be cheaper. I still have hopes that we can lure Leuer. He would play less minutes, be younger, and have upside.

Ok let's see who SVG brings in as our back up PF

I can pretty much guarantee it will be for more money than Teletovic and he will have a worst shooting % from 3pt

Is Teletovic hands down better than Harris or Morris? No

But at his price you switch Harris to SF with Stanley and run Mook and Teletovic

I think we could have gotten him for even cheaper since our franchise is better run and better off than the Bucks at this point

Yeah, I was bummed when I saw that too. Oh well, SVG probably knows what he's doing. Doesn't he have some sort of analytics wiz on board? They probably saw something they didn't like or are waiting to land a homerun with Horford or Ryno. I will be a lot sadder if the only big we end up getting is T-Rob though.

I liked Teletovic too but I think Nicholson is better than him. Somehow Nicholson gets the ball in the hole. Slow or not he is a bigger body and put a body on somebody. This isn't a loss. Our rookie is probably better

Teletovic is not a franchise breaker. He's a decent 30-year old stretch big. Would have been nice, but this isn't going to be the addition we look back on and think "man, we coulda really been something special".

Would have been good, especially for that money, but it's not the end of the world.

Teletovic is strictly a stretch PF 3 point shooter, nothing else. Terrible defensively. Would have been an OK signing, but i'd rather have his teammate Jon Leuer, at least he can rebound and bang down low, he's also a pretty good shooter, more rounded player and younger.
