Ok wallflowers...let's get you out of your shells. Trust me--it's ok! We're all actually normal people. I've met half a dozen Pistons posters and about thirty OTB posters in person (no, I'm not kidding; we've met up in Vegas and other locations a number of times). Let's pick a game to either attend or just meet up and watch at a bar.

You might actually make a new friend!

In full disclosure...I live in my retired mother's basement, have a bad skin condition and BadMofoPimp took out a restraining order against me.

"So Manocad, what's your motivation in this endeavor?" Nothing more than an excuse to A) drink and B) watch basketball with people who follow the same team I do. Plus I have a really cool van and free candy.

LOL...get drunk, for sure. But I wouldn't have 30+ friends made from this website if I was trying to kick everyone's ass.

I don't expect much out of this; I've been a member here for over 10 years and the Off Topic Board seems to be the only board where people aren't afraid to walk out of the house. But like I do every few years, I throw it out there.

My personal suggestion is a Beerfest or Microbrew festival. I have partied with Manocad at one of these before and nothing like going around to try Microbrews with a crew full of jokers.
