I've met half a dozen Pistons posters and about thirty OTB posters in person (no, I'm not kidding; we've met up in Vegas and other locations a number of times). Let's pick a game to either attend or just meet up and watch at a bar.

In full disclosure...I live in my retired mother's basement, have a bad skin condition and BadMofoPimp took out a restraining order against me.

"So Manocad, what's your motivation in this endeavor?" Nothing more than an excuse to A) drink and B) watch basketball with people who follow the same team I do. Plus I have a really cool van and free candy.

I'm game.

I don't expect much out of this; I've been a member here for over 10 years and the Off Topic Board seems to be the only board where people aren't afraid to walk out of the house. But like I do every few years, I throw it out there.

I'd be down, but I'm too far away to make it affordable. I want to hear the stories afterwards, though.

So, you have partied with Manocad before! I have personally witnessed this.

My personal suggestion is a Beerfest or Microbrew festival. I have partied with Manocad at one of these before and nothing like going around to try Microbrews with a crew full of jokers.

Not a big bar guy (either TV is to small for my bad eyes or you can't hear ****)

But I wouldn't mind going to a game,as long as were sitting somewhat close to the floor.
