Media day has sort of lost it's luster with social media prevalence. Before it was your first look at the players and the work they put in during the off-season, hear their off-season stories and what they did. Now with twitter and instagram you basically get a play-by-play of their lives. KCP is the only Piston who doesn't seem all into the social media thing.

When you're an elite SG, you don't have time for social media. Takes a lot of hours in the gym to be a 30% shooter

Sounds like Stanley might be used in the Draymond role after all:

Second-year swingman Stanley Johnson is hoping to show off a revamped jumper and stronger left hand. He will get time at power forward in addition to the two wing spots.

Makes sense as a way to get more minutes for Bullock.

Always a big day!? It means the season has started. That long dark night is over! I agree there is more social media, but don't see how the start of the new season has lost it's luster? Things get real now.

From nothing other than that whatever-that-is of Lorenzo Brown it looks like he leaned out a bit this summer - maybe been told to focus full time on being PG and having to defend the position to win the 3rd spot and is looking to be quicker.
