So i've noticed that a lot of us struggle to find places or sites to watch the Pistons play. I was hoping to create a thread to help us when our "GO TO STREAMS" aren't working. While i believe its illegal to post any website addresses on RealGM, there's nothing wrong with suggesting google searches.



The most obvious place is "NBA League Pass". From my personal experience the user interface is not great, and sometimes the billing is shady.

i personally google "firstrowsports" or sportshunter which are free.


I do know there's a alternative to NBA League pass "bballstream"? or something to that effect. You still pay but have same kind of access as League pass. I think BMP or one of the other OG posters utilizes this site regularly. If one of you guys could clarify.

I still think the Arena is the best place to catch the game.

The Palace should be the best place to watch the Pistons for the pre-season, but I can't find how to get the free 200-level seating codes for the Pistons games. One of the posters here mentioned they got a code as part of some Pistons texting program, but I never got specifics. I tried signing up to:

and thus far, I've gotten nada -- no reply texts, nothing.

It's pretty simple, on the "front page" (home page) you'll see a bunch of links or text posts from various sub groups (subreddits), with the most popular ones at the top (think most and1'd). Each link has a comment section as well. If you leave a comment it'll be at the parent level (not indented), then if you respond to that comment it will be indented one level, sort of like quoting a response here. You can sort the comments however you like, most popular (default), most recent, etc.

For basketball streams google what mercury said, and bookmark that nba streams subreddit. On game days before tipoff a thread will be started for each game that night, and the comments left will all be links to different streams. Look for the one with the most upvotes to see which is likely a good stream

One thing that always helps me is to sort the discussion by newest postings first.

I think it's normally sorted by the posts with the most votes. If you are trying to follow a discussion then it basically looks like an incoherent mess.

How does this work exactly? I'm looking for a good streaming option for the game tonight. I have League Pass for the regular season through DirecTV.

I haven't seen any Ace player streams yet during the preseason.

I generally google "batmanstream". It is truly the best way to catch various live sporting events. Hope I'm not breaking any rules in saying so...
