Hasnt looked to good this preseason. Im sure sj can put up kcp numbers if you play him over 28 minutes a night. Idk why its taking svg so long to pull the plug on this guy. No morris, no Reggie, and kcp cant raise his game

SJ can't play over KCP. Maybe Gbinje, But SVG needs to find minutes for Ellenson somehow.

No way SJ starts, he's been even more awful than him since he's just a walking TO. And his attitude has been less than ideal since he's pouting.
I do like how Hilliard and even Gbenejie has been looking smart.

Preason, PREASEASON. I couldn't care less about what hes does. My goal to see in all preseasons is that no one gets hurt. And we've already lost RJ.

Soo you guys are content rolling out more roll players who literally will do the same thing kcp is doing with less speed. Gbenejie my boy so i wont be too mad if he started but lets get real.
Kcp, hilliard, gbenejie, bullock what do they all have in common? Neither of them can create their own shots. They get thrown the ball, take a halfass jabstep, then either A. Swing it right back B. 1-2 dribble chuck up, or C. The halfass drive with no intention of finishing. Now with
Now Sj has struggled, but HE HAS NOT BEEN GIVING A REAL SHOT since hes been here. Sj has allstar potential written all over him. How do we manage the talent his rookie year? Aftet he clearly ouyplays kcp in training camp as well as preseason, we start by bringing him off the bench on a short leash. Forget the dumb fact hes on the bench, you dont put a player who has allstar potential on a leash. Its counter productive.
I offer these 3 examples. Devin booker was only able to show how good he is last season because bledsoe and god knows whoever else got hurt which opened up a starting spot for him. Devin did his thing as a starter and with the suns being healthy now, devin booker is stilllll the starting shooting guard
Kelly oubre (who good friends and workouts with sj) had a forgetable rookie yr. His coach att wittman had oubre on a shorter leash than sj. Scotty brooks gets hired, new opportunity. He said oubre has a green light when he comes in and hes been going off. This example just shows what removing the leash off a guy who should be starting can do.
3rd example isnt even bball. I want to use the dallas cowboys as a example. Romo is the starting qb. Had the job for years until his injury forced him to sit couple weeks. Dak prescott (rookie) gets more pt and does his thing. Now without the "elder stateman" going down, you would never get to see how the young boy plays. Turned out nicely for the Cowboys.
Now to get back on track, when i see those examples i listed above, i immediately think back to last season. Pistons had lost to the knicks twice badly and kcp was embarrassed by afflalo. Kcp gets what id describe as a "convenient" injury and 1st game after he goes down, whatdya know we play nyk. Stanley johnsom starts his 1st nba game. What happened next? Sj 20pts with a good amount of rebounds and sme ast. And the team that had previously smacked us twice, we beat them.
What i want you guys to observe though, is the manner in which sj got his buckets. None of his shots come from the same place because he is a multi faceted player (hence why he has all star potential. Ding ding).
Our current starting 2 is a spot up shooter whos utterly useless in isolations. He cant triple threat. Kcp can't even seal his man and call for the ball midrange area.
Why are we sticking with this jumpshot jacking role player ass n!gga. Its obvious he not a top sg nor has potential to be. Lets start grooming our future.

I'm learning the Pistons are actually stacked with talent. The problem we're facing is there's not enough minutes to go around. Ellenson has been killing it, we don't even need Leuer or Baynes. There will 100% be a trade this season not only to save money but to also cash in on the assets we have now and find better talent. I think anybody on the team can be traded outside of Drummond but we'll have half a season to decide who the bad apples are. Imagine how we got Reggie Morris and Harris for nothing. What happens when SVG actually has assets to trade?
