Not sure but I don't think so, another local reporter said they had dinner at the Joe Monday before the game.

Very sad. He could be pretty antagonistic towards my, and his, alma mater, but he sure did know how to generate clicks to his articles. Seems like he was really well liked and respected among his Detroit sports journalist peers, RIP

Rest in power.

Not to sound like a insensitive d*. But that guy literally hated on Detroit sports ALL THE TIME. While he claimed to have a "realistic view", when you read his articles the logic behind it a lot of the times was either wrong or reaching. I mean basically he just bet against the teams all the time and naturally our teams came thru in the clutch.

While i pray for peace for him and his family, doesn't change all the trolling he did behind his "realistic view point".

Yeah I couldn't stand him as all he did was try to troll Detroit fans or something it seemed like but still sad.

Wonder who's going to replace him. We finally rid ourselves of Goodwill

Horrible columnist, in regards to the Pistons. Sorry to hear he passed away so young.

I'm sorry for his family and friends, but the guy decided to live his life as an antagonist and prick. I didn't enjoy his work and won't miss him a bit.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Sorry for his family, but maybe now we'll get a decent columnist reporting on Detroit sports.
