He goes in spurts... Its the #1 reason he dropped to us in the first place, NBA teams questioned his drive after being an athletic freak that put up poor numbers in college. Sometimes he comes out and plays hard and sometimes he lays an egg... especially when he misses a few shots and the opposing center scores on him.

Also no. Andre has a lot of on-court maturing to do as a professional athlete. Luckily he's fine off-court.

I think Stans insistence on trying to turn him into the next Dwight is getting into his head. There's too much hype to meet a player of prime Dwight's caliber.

He needs to really play within the offense and stop trying to be a blackhole.

This has been a recurring issue with Drummond going back to his 2nd year really. Motor/effort issues are nothing new for him, and there's no excuse for that. Players shouldn't let the way the game is going impact their effort/mentality, never get too high never get too low. Tobias Harris, Marcus Morris and KCP do an excellent job at that. They always give the same effort.

He has heart, just immature and a lack of frustration tolerance.
