personally i think he would be a tremendous fit for us, he can plug into the back-up center spot and is a better option than the two we have now. so my question is this, do you think we should trade for him and what would be a fair trade?

Kings aren't going to hand him over. Trade offer would have to be pretty decent. Cousins' issues don't help the likelihood of Willie getting traded.

He would be a terrific backup at the 5. He can't play on the floor with Drummond though, no shooting range.

From rumors in recent years, Sacramento tend to want a King's ransom for any player that has any value around the league.

actually i think he can play next to him in small stints. a defensive line-up of dre, WCS, Stanley, KCP, Jackson would be nasty. our team would be a legit ten deep.i think a package of bullock hillard and two first would be nice, it may not be the best deal tho.

he wants a bigger role, he wouldn't get that here but i would welcome him with open arms. i just dont see us having what the kings would want.

I might be wrong, but the guy seems as if he has a very low intelligence level. While he might help defensively, I wouldn't want to be Van Gundy with a bunch of crayons trying to explain my system to him. I would opine that the Pistons are much too astute to resort to entertaining the idea.

If we are moving assets, it should be to address our one massive hole and that is shooting off our bench. I see no reason to trade players/picks for a backup C when we already have 2 1/2.

Nah, unless we get him for cheap. He doesn't really help us much.

Baynes right now is better than WCS besides there is really no use for him on this team. He really isn't that good.

As much as I see trade threads on this board, no one has came out with the obvious needed trade. Baynes is honestly taking more away from the second unit than he could be giving. He is second guessing himself I'm thinking post too much, he's strong but not athletic, and the dude can't block a shot or help weak side to save his life. The only thing saving him is he can hit 15 feet out and make free throws, but he's not even taking that 15 footer that often. Hopefully boban can be that guy if not we need to find a defensive minded center that can hit free throws in a hurry.

I agree Baynes needs to gtfo, but he and Boban/Leuer are all still better than Stein imo.

He'd never get 20+ min here because Dre is going to play at least 30-33 mpg and there's no min available at PF.

Plus the 7m/yr spent on Boban would be wasted. Just no need for another Center, esp at that price.

To be honest I don't know much about Cauley-Stein but I wouldn't trade for another center unless we're trading Drummond.

IF we're trading Baynes then we better get a shooter back, preferably a back up SG signed for a couple of years.

And who is gonna take what is essentially an expiring while giving us a shooter locked up?

I'd consider trading Boban for WCS and filler. I'd throw in a 2nd rounder for good measure. Having said that, other teams with greater needs at center can put together a much better package.

WCS is not good. The Kings have given him every opportunity and he's looked like a JaVale McGee level space cadet. He's still young and he's still got time to figure it out, but nothing in the Kings recent drafting history and nothing in his skill set suggest he's a good fit for us, especially not at the price level some are suggesting.
