Game 13: Pistons (6-6) @ Cavaliers (9-2) - 7:30 PM EST

Post#1 » by whitehops » Thu Nov 17, 2016 7:50 pm

rematch of stanley johnson vs. lebron james (lol)

the cavs obviously have a lot of weapons but one thing to watch for is how we defend channing frye. he's been scorching teams and is shooting 48% from 3 on 6.6 attempts. we bottled him up in our series vs. them in the playoffs but they really seem to be clicking. with the lebron + bench lineups they essentially just put lebron in the pick and pop with frye and you either leave frye at the three point line or give lebron a driving opportunity.

let's go pistons!

Channing is shooting 48%?

That Lebron effect.

Leuer will dominate. I can feel it. Channing Frye has nothing on him!

Hopefully a close because i'm going to buzzed up. A win would be great, but Bron just sat against Indy.

If we had RJ, it would be a real game. Low expectations for this game.

Good to get this one out of the way with RJ out.... no chance of beating them at their house anyways.

KCP vs Kyrie- If KCP an at least keep him frustrated through the game and make him work, should help in the 4th quarter. Aint no body in the league that can stop Kyrie

Harris vs Bron----People tend to forget but Harris and Bron go at each other and its gotten heated. I look for Harris to come out focused and Bron to be Bron. SVG will keep him on the outside hopefully Bron's jump shot ain't working

Low Key vs Love-----Really interested in seeing this match up. We got Leur partly because we needed someone to defend Love or at least abuse him on the other end

SJ vs JR- SJ needs to focus on keeping JR in check, he is one of many players that tend to go off on us. We'll need something out of SJ if we want to win this game.

I am super bummed as i won't be able to watch this one. Hopefully i can find a illegal replay somewhere. lol

LeBron rested the last game so he would have enough in the tank to hold off Stanley Johnson.

Cavs will prolly play Bron at PF as he always dominates the matchups with Harris one on one for years.

They're likely going to play Love and Frye at center a lot to take Dre out of the game, Leuer playing at the 5 in these situations will really help us on both ends, everybody needs to crash the boards though.

Kinda wouldn't be shocked if it's a 20 pt blowout.

No. Going to start around 6:30 probably. If we get blown out i'll be drinking more than if it was close. So if I started now and we get blown out might not be able to make it up to the bar later, lol.

Hoping for a close one. I'm not sure what to expect. Not expecting a win, but it's the NBA anything can happen.
