Game 14: Celtics (6-6) @ Pistons (6-7) - 7:00 PM EST

Back to The Palace to play versus Isaiah Thomas and Boston Celtics.
Both teams on their b2b. Both teams lost against the contenders. Celtics are quite nice at shooting 3's, but generally the offense bases on Thomas form. Last season we've gone 2-2 against them and every single game was close to the end. Well, we need to put more heart into this game.
What do you think about starting Leuer over Mook? In last 6 games Marcus had only 1 game(@Nuggets) when shooting more than 39% from the field. Jon is way better than that, and by doing this change my boy Tobias will be able to go back to his nominal position.

Boston's whole team plays with effort which means Dre will be pouting and will get out worked. Isaiah will take Ish to school. Jaylen Brown is everything I wish Stanley was (aka he can jump. High). I have a bad feeling about these next couple games.
Get well soon Reggie.

Our record sucks in a big way because we have injuries to Horford and Crowder, who've been out the past 9 games. Same situation with you guys and Reggie.
Drummond and Harris are going to get a TON of offensive rebounds tonight because Horford (I'm gonna guess he won't play) will still be out and Crowder (same guess) as well. Amir will likely be on Drummond, which means he'll give some resistance on D but not on the boards. Also Marcus Smart might miss this game too.
Our chance rests on forcing turnovers tonight really because we'll be tired.
Good luck with your season guys, I'm sure you guys will be fine when Reggie comes back.

I'm really not sure why everyone is so shocked that we're "underachieving" right now...
From the get go I felt that playing around .500 ball without Reggie would be an accomplishment in and of itself. I also saw some blowouts against upper echelon teams and a few bad losses coming a mile away. I'm not sure why everyone is so mad and acting so surprised.
Reggie does a lot for this team, a lot more than some people realize and/or want to admit.

Homerism at its finest from the Pistons Twitter. IT avg 27ppg while Ish can't finish a layup.

It's just an excuse talk about the biggest "star" on the other team to hype up the game a bit. Casual fans ain't tuning in for Avery Bradly, Marcus Smart, Amir, or Kelly Olynyk

At home after a disappointing game? This is a W. We might shoot poorly on a back to back, but I think we'll do a better job of getting after the glass and taking advantage of Boston own sloppy play.

Hopefully Horford and Crowder are rusty after missing time.

Always happy to see Amir though. I dunno why, but always had a soft spot for him.

It's now to the point where we it's more of a surprise for "Dre is trying today!"
