So after unfortunate lose we are taking His Beardness and the Houston Rockets. He is great this year but we are able to stop him(like thunder did).Do not wait until Heat game, stop that ugly streak tonight!

Big game for KCP. If he can cut the head off of the snake (Harden,) then we win this game.

really worried about Drummond guarding Nenè and Anderson shooting midrange jumpers and 3-pointers

this is going to be a very interesting game. the rockets offense is one of the best in the league and they're great at getting to the efficient areas on the court. they take by far the most 3 pointers in the league (42% of their field goal attempts!) and they are near the top of the league in shots at the rim (7th), while taking next to no mid-range shots. our defense is good at taking those shots away from teams as our opponents shoot the 5th least 3 pointers and 3rd least shots at the rim.

something's gotta give...

^Good offense is always going to win over good defense.

I expect their offense to run circles around ours since D'Antoni is an offensive genius. If they get a couple of stops defensively, it could be a long night for us. Harden is playing out of his mind, he's looking like Stockton.

No he didn't. Pistons are 27th in 3pt shooting at 32%. A downgrade from last years 20th place sub-par shooting of 34.5%.

He's upgraded the talent level of the roster, but with the wrong type of players who don't compliment Drummond.

Reggie was a great move at PG, but he's added zero quality shooters around them. This thread could be re-titled "Stan Van Gundy builds the Detroit Pistons wrong", if we're being honest. (I'm Pistons fan by the way. I'm not trolling). But you can't stock your roster with no shooters to run a 1-in/4-out system and say it's built right. It's just not.

He's stocked a lot of assets which is credit-worthy, but now he's got lots of trades to make to reconfigure those assets into a roster that actually fits his stars/system. Until then, it's just your average middling East playoff team at best.

Saw this post in the GB.. Agree? Disagree? Some good points were made i do believe.

KCP looks much better when he focuses on mid-range jumpers off screen and corner threes..I just think he should work harder to get the shots he can actually hit consistently

Other than the rebounding, our defense looks good so far
