Game 18: Pistons (8-9) @ Thunder (9-8) - 8:00 EST

After probably our best game during this season we are heading to Oklahoma City and we will take Ninja Turtle and his Thunder team. 2 weeks ago we beat them easily. Both teams are on their b2b but okc had an OT game at Denver, in which Russ and Dipo played 42 minutes. Will Stanley play tonight? Darrun played great so.. Johnson just lost his spot in rotation?? I hope that Baynes will have a better game. Last time when we met he was a key factor for that easy blowout in The Palace. DEETROIT BASKETBALL!Let's go for that .500 winning percentage!

Interesting with both teams not rested in tough, tight games. You'd think it'd favor us, because we have more depth, but they're at home. I hope KCP has enough gas in the tank to harass Westbrook -- if he does, we'll win it with our forwards.

Marcus Morris said it best last night, "If we come out with that type of focus and effort every game we'd easily be a top 10 team" tonight its going to be all about the type of effort they can give on the 2nd night of a back to back. If they give the effort all game, the game is theirs for the taking. OKC will be ready to play and I'm sure they remember how easily we handled them back at the Palace so they'll be looking to get revenge at home the same way we just did against LAC.

There have been about 6 games so far this season where if we had Reggie, they would have been almost certainly wins. This will be #7.

Loss, loss, loss.

I knew the team would miss his ability to score when it's needed most, and I knew the team would miss his leadership, but I never knew the sheer extent his impact overall on the team was.

In this era of great PG play, his offense tires out opposing point gaurds and is in itself a form of defense, something ish just isn't capable of in the starting role.

It is a good thing for the team to learn, and gel without Reggie, but this is the exact type of game (back to back, strong opposing gaurd play)that Reggie would control, and win.

This 4 game swing is gonna be rough people, prepare for that.

Back to back? On the road? Coming off a a euphoric win?

Yeah, this one is an easily predicted loss.

Been saying this ALL along since he was ruled out. It's not just missing Reggie, his absence is creating a domino effect on the roster.

If we can win this and get back to .500 that would be huge with Reggie coming back soon

Yeah no kidding. Wasn't yesterday a sure loss too? Not only am I glad they actually play the game, I'm even more glad none of these tomato cans on here are playing it. This is a clearly unwinnable game in some eyes.

This. If you want to be a great team, you have to beat good teams on the road. Yes, we are traveling on a back-to-back, but so are they. And their starters played alot more minutes last night than ours did. Yes, having Reggie back for this game would give us a much better shot, but we are good enough to win with the guys we have.

I want a W and to move to .500.

How is it even possible that Westbrook is averaging 32-10-11? :o

Their bigs should be ashames of themselves IMO.

I don't care what system you're running - the fact Westbrook is grabbing all those boards says a lot about their bigs

Its not that at all. Reggie is perhaps the largest portion of our offense.

Without him our offense suffers greatly and to expect the team to continue to compensate for his huge loss is hopeful at best.

Realistic is what I would call it.
