First trade. Idc how we do it but this is what we know. There WILL be a trade happening this trade deadline whether it's a lateral move or a it'll make us better. I think the most likely to be traded are: Jackson, KCP, SJ, Baynes, and Harris. Baynes is for sure going to get traded considering his contract. I think Jackson really needs to show he can make KCP better or else one of them is for sure gone considering what KCP will command this summer. Either one will be gone this trade deadline, I just don't picture them being successful together offensively. I want John Wall, he's the only player to be a clear upgrade over Jackson

I think RJ needs to prove that he can make the team better. Seems the only one benefitting from RJ's return is Dre and its not necessarily for the right reasons. Be curious to see our team +/- over our first 5 games w Ish vs RJ's. I would bet we were a better team.

i just don't think we trade KCP unless there is a player like love or George coming back. I don't think we are worried about paying 25 million but rather if he'll be worth it. He's a 23 year 2 way SG that continues to develop potential into production.

This is going to be quite the trade deadline.

I can easily see one of RJ, SJ, KCP, Baynes, and multiple 1sts being moved a quality return.

WAS is interesting because of the upgrade in talent tier due to Wall and RJ & Scott Brooks go all the way back.

RJ, SJ, King & Baynes to Washington

Wall, Oubre & Kieff to us

They become:

Gortat / Baynes
King
Porter / SJ
Beal
RJ

Draft a PF, get some bench vets and hope that RJ & Beal are better compliments for each other

We become:

Dre / Jon / Bobo
Kieff / Mook
Harris / Oubre
KCP / Hilly
Wall / Ish

Don't know if that works or not but makes sense for both teams IMO

I'd love to see someone do a 3 team deal where we land Cousins, Wall & Kieff

Kings could get SJ & Dre...

Wizards could get RJ, King & Baynes

End result for us would look something like this:

Cousins / Jon / Bobo
Kieff / Mook
Harris
KCP / Hilly
Wall / Ish

Might be able to grab a big kid from the Kings too

NBA Live / 2K at it's finest!

Also probably creates a split in the locker room with Wall & Cousins in one group, Kieff, Mook & Ishin another and the rest of our guys led by KCP & Tobias wondering WTF happened lol

I don't know if RJ and SJ are trade bait right now. Once RJ gets healthy, I think he is good enough to get us deep in the playoffs. Would I love John Wall? Sure, but I don't see a trade going down to make it happen.

I would like us to get an established 3pt shooting SG as a 6th man. It would be nice if Baynes could get us that, probably need to add a draft pick.

Also, do we trade Baynes? I know we "lose" him in the offseason for nothing, but what will we get for him? And if it isn't much, maybe we are better just having him with the team for the playoff run.

One thing is for sure, SVG and Bowers will be working the phones as always, and they will pull the trigger if they see something.

Wall seems to be wearing out his welcome in Washington and style of play seems in tune with our system, where as RJ seems to want to be a RW type player where the system is designed around a dynamic pg . So there could be interest , i just don't know if they need SJ with their overload at the Forward spot and may want King instead.

Also, do we trade Baynes? I know we "lose" him in the offseason for nothing, but what will we get for him? And if it isn't much, maybe we are better just having him with the team for the playoff run.

I had us trading Baynes and Getting Gorat back. While i think the ultimate impact is net 0, Gortat has a lot more experience.

real excited about this because we've seen what they can do with essentially very little assets, now that we have actual value, curious to see what SVG can get.

Also is there a reason we never had a Sticky Trade thread? or Gif Thread? My best guess is you guys tried it once and it didn't do anything ????

I actually had another trade where it was

RJ+SJ+Baynes

Wall+Kieff+Gortat

I don't know if i call Kieff a negative asset, but he sure as hell isn't helping out the situation in Washington and is definitely movable. I just don't know if Kieff is the right kool aid for this team.

don't think ellenson's got enough value right now for Washington, where as SJ is still scene as a franchise player. Truthfully, we probably want to keep ellenson > SJ. You can't teach size nor that kind of skillset at that size

They already have porter and oubre at the 3 not sure why would they need SJ more than another solid prospect in ellenson at the 4 where they certainly look more thin

Porter and Oubre are more 3-4's with no ability to guard 2's. SJ arguably can guard all 3. SJ's value and "franchise player" tag stems largely from the fact he's so versatile and defensively ready than most as a sophomore. Ellenson also doesn't bulk up their 4 spot all that much. So there isn't a great deal of difference in need/value.

yes, and the hope is that in a system more suited to his skillset , he'd be better. He's literally exactly like mook where when you watch film, you see flashes, but also lack of discipline. In our system and structure, he could turn it around if he's similar to Mook mentally.

Stanley can guard 2s but he isn't a 2 on offense a thing that's more important in todays nba if ur a 2. "Franchise player" tag as of right now I think ur the only one who sees him that way and im not sure how could he become a franchise player playing behind beal and porter anyways. Oubre is a 3&2 not sure where u get the 4 thing so there's definitely a log jam there. Ellenson is not suppose to bulk and be an impact player right away for the wizards but for the future, that if the wizards decided to trade wall and others, after that it's all future by default

I'm quite sure that one Morris is enough.

Baynes for Bogut, not sure if it works but make it happen!!

Would be stoked to pair Wall with Dre.

KCP must stay.

As much as I like Wall, I don't like the fit all that much. If it's RJ, Stanley and a first for him then I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade our talent, he's just not an ideal fit.
