I'd say that's pretty unlikely.

Tobias kissed ass post game yesterday. He aint going no where. Stan will give Jackson another shot, he has to. Morris is going to the bench for Leuer.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
I'm not sure if SVG is gonna swap just one, or two starters. Two seems a little more drastic.. here's what I'm thinking is most likely:
[RJ/Ish] pick one
KCP
[Harris/Mook] pick one
Leuer
Drummond
[RJ/Ish] pick one
KCP
[Harris/Mook] pick one
Leuer
Drummond

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
Leuer has earned a chance at the starting lineup. Reggie shouldn't even see the floor for at least one game after last night. SVG could lose the team if he lets that go. When SVG said "that wasn't us, that was him" it made that pretty clear.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
Leuer has earned it and Ish might be our best stop gap at this point due to RJ killing our chemistry and to stop the bleeding of us getting blown out.
At least when Ish played, we were a top defense with him, now we look like we're tanking.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
A 2nd unit of Reggie/Harris/SJ/Baynes/Hilliard could be quite dangerous and still compete against others teams starters.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
ish (just for a couple games to punish Reggie for his idiocy)
Kcp
Marcus
leuer (permanent)
Drummond
I always go with the better defender between Mook/Harris. I think 6th man scorers are best coming off the bench as the "6th starter" like Manu Ginobli/ Vinne Johnson
I'd take Hilliard out the rotation and play SJ as much as possible. He has the heart and the defense like KCP, and the talent level like Reggie/Drummond. But he's actually a leader who doesn't pout if he's not scoring. Keep him on the floor. I'd actually start him over Morris but that's just me.

You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
It will just end up being Leuer replacing one of Mook or Harris. I've been saying for a while that needed to be done though. Team needs another big out their to help protect the paint and rebound. No sense in playing two SFs while neither one is making shots so all we are doing is playing really crappy ass small ball.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
Meabwhile the Jazz are destroying the league because Dennis Lindsey values defense but SVG only talks defense but writes checks to offense only

Reasonable words, but honestly Jackson had the sound of a fella who’s been beat up. It seems like he’s been made the scapegoat of the losing skid and that he’s feeling it. And that’s really not fair to him. This team has had issues with ball movement and keeping contact when the other team starts to pull away far before Jackson came back.
As I mentioned the other day, the Pistons were 25th in assist percentage at 53.4 percent before Jackson’s return and have been 25th in the league at 54.4 percent since then. Jackson ain’t the problem.
--
Can't say I disagree. Again, I think defense is the problem. He's not a defender like Ish is.
You have two non-defenders in your starting lineup. Too many to win, because Dre is up and down.
So your choice is to remove
RJ for Ish
Or
Tobias for Leuer
I move Tobias to the bench and keep RJ in. That's just me

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
i don't know how much leuer starting will change things, he already plays close to 30 minutes as is. that said, his play is definitely starting-quality though.
my guess would be we sub ish for reggie. we play golden state in a few games, durant is gonna clown reggie so hard about being a backup.

Re: Predict Wednesdays Lineup
I don't think SVG pulls Reggie even if he is the biggest problem. Limit his minutes maybe and put him on a short leash, but long term we need him to be a productive starter and he'll get a bit of a pass for missing the beginning of the season.
Call me crazy, but I'm gonna go with Stanley and Leuer in the starting lineup at forward.
That way at the 6-8 min mark Ish, KCP, Mook & Harris are able to play together. Then get Baynes in the last 2 min of the quarter and bring Stanley back in at the start of the 2nd to spell KCP at the 2.
Not conventional thinking and I'm probably wrong, but we need to find lineups that both Reggie and Ish can play with. That gives us Reggie/ Dre pnr to start, followed by a change of pace ball movement lineup.
