Starting lineup was beginning to jell with ish as pg following a 3 game road win streak. The ball was moving, everyone was getting touches in their sweet spots. Team was running plays for kcp and dre was getting the ball with 2 feet in the paint. Reggie is inserted into lineup and dre and kcp disappear from offense. Morris and Tobias no longer receive ball in sweet spots on the floor. Problem is COACHING. Coach Reggie to play with pace and move w/o the ball; as does ish. COACH reggie to come off pnr n shoot open 15 foot jumper like beno. Finally stop that tired high pick and roll with reggie and dre. Let luer,Morris Tobias set picks for reggie. Dre can set picks for players running thru paint. He then will be in position to catch ball with 2 feet in the paint. AGAIN, this is not a players problem but in this instance, POOR COACHING.

A general manager hires a coach, brings in his players and tells coach make it happen. Team enjoys some success but suddenly everything begins to fall completely apart. Gm asks coach what is the problm and the coach says I sere the problem but I dont have a solution. What would you do as GM. Find a problem solver coach????

We were a .500 team before the lineup change. The only reason people were optimistic was because .500 was deemed good enough until our savior returned. The problem was we didn't get better. .500 is still not good enough.

The drama is we didn't get a saviour back...we got a problem!
As stated Ish plays with pace & moves the ball...RJ doesn't
Until that changes it's same old same old

Yeah, and regarding that 3 game winning streak everyone points at... people have to remember that Charlotte was playing their 4th game in 5 nights and Atlanta was on a big losing streak (playing without their best player). The Celtics game was impressive offensively but we gave up 114 points and it really required a rather miraculous shooting game to squeak it out. A win is a win, but I don't really count those as evidence that this was somehow a "good" team before RJ's return.

Andre Drummond is a huge net negative this season the team is built around him and his offense rebounding to create extra possessions and P&R to pull help defenders in the paint. Teams figured the lob P&R out last season but they couldn't stop him on the offensive boards but now he ain't thinking bout that.
Also the team as a hole doesn't shoot enough 3pt or score in the paint cause Reggie isn't Reggie from last season. It would probably be better to have a shooter in place of Morris but they'd have to be a decent defender since we have no rim protection.
