Game 37: Pacers (17-18) @ Pistons (16-20) - 7:30 PM EST

Last time when those two teams met we lost hard. Interesting thing is that this game (12/18) was Pacers last win outside the Indy city. I can call this game "two disappoitments against each other". I heard that Baynes is injured so its time to give some minutes for Boban. Tobias needs to dominate the second unit matchup. Playing like during the 2nd half of Heat game can bring the 8th spot back again. DEETROOIIT BASKETBAAALL!!!

Hope Marcus's knee is better. We need that guy to get unravelled!

It's hard to get excited for this team right now, Hopefully they can turn it around

our team slump , while also coinciding with RJ's return , interestingly enough also coincided with Mooks decline. We most certainly need him to return to form as his defense value is only valuable when we can take advantage of those opportunities. The game in Miami was encouraging

My prediction for the game
1st Quarter: RJ again gets the team off to a slow start. Teague absolutely destroys the team D in transition and PG13 follows those possessions up with making difficult shots. SVG calls multiple timeouts and we keep it with in 15 points til Ish comes in and we get it to with in 10
2nd Quarter: Teague and George continue to have their way with either Ellis or Stuckey putting pressure on the D at the rim, I would venture to guess Turner at this point has blocked at least 3 shots. We end the 2nd quarter strong and keep the game with in 10.
3rd quarter: RJ comes back and we have a slow start. Pacers lead increases to 20 before we wake up and RJ all of a sudden remembers how to play basketball. We get it to within 5 at end of 3rd
4th quarter: Teague and PG13 hold off any late charge made by the Pistons.
SVG postgame: talks about the team defense , being out rebounded and no transition D. RJ probably has more TO's than assist

Every team besides the top 3 in the east are going through these slumps like us. Pacers, Knicks on a 5 game losing streak, Chicago, Atlanta etc.. To bad we couldn't have been motivated this year cause that 4th seed was ours. Still could be but need to get it together already.

We already have problems with the Pacers to begin with, would be surprised if we win this.

They still have PG13 and he's due for a mid slump-breaking game tonight.
Expect him to drop 30+ on us with them squeezing out a win. But otherwise, basically what blkbrd said.

I want a to win but I want a top 10 pick so bad in this draft. I just feel like this is the draft you have a chance to get a young star in the top 10 and we need it badly.

Pacers fan checking in here. It was said in your threads but I think the only thing we know about both teams is they are consistently inconsistent. No clue how this game goes tonight. With this Pacer team.... nothing surprises me. I will say and this will come back to bite me, but the last 2 games have probably been the best 2 games in a row for the season. Hopefully they continue that tonight.

I would be very happy with that outcome. Teague is questionable tonight. Rolled his ankle on Sunday it happened on the end of the court I was sitting. It didn't look good. He came back and finished the game but is listed as questionable for tonight. BTW on an unrelated note good luck to all of the Lions fans in the playoffs this weekend.

Every time I look at these things it just reminds me of what a bad offensive team we are. Seems like I've yet to see one where we look strong against our opponent

It's very rare that we win 2 games in a row but I really hope we bring it tonight.

Not quite RJ's fault, but still slow start

Well besides a Cavs team that didn't try and a D-League team, this team is trash.

Every game starts with us missing everything and the other team making everything..
