#1: Trade Reggie and our 1st rd'er for Trevor Ariza (or someone similar)? Could be a 3-team trade, whatever?
-Ariza's a young'ish veteran. He's a great outside shooter. He's a great defender. Great character guy. Has played for SVG in the past.
-Reggie's a cancer, and a horrible leader. Need to get him away from Dre ASAP, before he's ruined too. Just makes bad decisions on the court. Doesn't seemed to be liked by teammates. Strange personality. Soft. Bad effort. Terrible D. Big contract that ridding ourselves of would be a real blessing. Lose a mid-1st rd. pick, big deal.

#2: Hopefully shedding Reggie's contract clears up enough space for us to sign Patty Mills. He's a young veteran, 28. Maybe the best deep shooting PG in the game. Spurs/Pop/Parker-trained.. will run a smart offense. Intangibles all there.

I hate the idea of trading our 1st to get rid of Reggie. His contract won't be too horrible to move this offseason. 3 years/48 mil. There will be much worse given out.

If we trade RJ for Ariza how can we afford Mills?

Remember that nobody pursued him before we gave him that contract
