I am not a ESPN basher unlike most of you but this is very interesting. Am I missing something, because I consider him one of the worst?

His rebounding would help him in those defensive stats. Saw not long ago he gives up an above average FG% at the rim, plus you've got the eye test. He's not totally awful, but right now he's no where near the DPOY convo.

You need to work on your reading comprehension.

All he said was that Drummond looks nice in some advanced stats, even though he's having a "so-so" season. Which is a nice way of saying he been playing like crap on overall.

Well, he mentions 3 guys in serious contention and then Dre. He certainly put Dre in the second tier, not the first.

Those "advanced stats" are one of the reasons most people are still pretty high on Dre as a prospect. There is only so long you get to have "potential" though. At some point, that has to translate into consistent performance.

we need all the positive publicity we can get for this guy. the public hasn't fully caught on that Drummond is a fraud.

Yeah, I think this is a good lesson- if you're gonna post an article in hopes of starting discussion its probably best to know what the article actually says.

but even mentioning drummond is weird. whiteside, deandre jordan, even howard has same numbers.

I think Drummond leads all centers with steals. His rebounding and block shots also helps.
