fun fact: if we win tonight, we'll be 34-34, just like we were last year after 68 games.
it's not a must-win game, but with the three teams behind us being within one game it's pretty close to a must-win.
go pistons!

Must-win. We rarely ever beat Utah. Please bounce back from that hideous performance last night and get this one.

Need to win either this or that Raps game. After that we have a pretty easy slate of games for a stretch.

Very tough game as Utah has been playing great. A win would be great, but they can survive without one. But, being a few players on the Jazz have lingering injuries slowing them down, there is a chance. KCP needs to lock Hayward down.
Boris Diaw starting, Joe Johnson to bench Mar 13.
Rudy Gobert (leg) will play on Monday Mar 13.
Derrick Favors (knee) out Monday vs. Clippers Mar 13.
Rudy Gobert (leg) is a game-time call Monday Mar 13.
Rudy Gobert (right leg) questionable Monday Mar 12.
Thus, they may not be 100%
Today:
Updated Player Injury
03/14/17 Shelvin Mack Ankle
03/13/17 Derrick Favors Knee

Oh yeah. I forgot that Joe Johnson was on the Jazz. He'll probably end up with 31 points tonight.

Every play ends in a wide open jumper, so tired of this teams defense..

IDK why he took Tobias out of the starting lineup. He was helping with actually keeping the starters from digging a early hole.

Why in the hell is Leuer back in the lineup? Especially against The Jazz? He can't guard Johnson or Hayward! smh. Bad decision by SVG

Not to try and relieve our players of blame (believe me, I think they deserve a lot of blame for bad/lazy defense), but I feel like our defensive strategy is a huge problem. It seems like most of the time our players run at (and then go flying past) opposing players on the 3 point line to get them to take a mid-range shot. But the problem with this is that then we're out of defensive position and then are giving up a wide open mid-range basket. I know that the mid-range shot is supposedly the hardest (or at least least efficient) shot in the game, but I find it hard to believe that wide open mid-range baskets are so bad that we'd want to give up as many as we do a game. Wouldn't it be better if our players just made a hard contest/closeout without sprinting past the opposing players? And I see so many of our players do this so often that I have to feel like this has to be what SVG is telling them to.

Wow. We're playing lazy as f*** and the Jazz are just dismantling us. Good for them. We deserve this.
