4 in a row on the road?

Post#1 » by theBigLip » Tue Mar 21, 2017 2:58 pm

Tue, Mar 21 @ Brooklyn
Wed, Mar 22 @ Chicago
Fri, Mar 24 @ Orlando
Mon, Mar 27 @ NY Knicks

Four in a row? That Chicago game is a back-to-back and also the toughest opponent, but this would be a good run to get a better than 8th seed.

We've got about a 33% win % on the road this year (11-22) so I'd be pretty happy if we can go 3-1 in that stretch. Orlando and New York have both had some recent decent showings against other EC playoff teams and Chicago is still fighting for that last playoff spot so they know how huge that came is for them... For Chicago its almost a win to stay in playoff contention type game so they might have their backs against the wall and come out fighting.

I am hoping for 3-1 but expecting 2-2 based on our road struggles all year.

I'm figuring 3-1. We really need to beat the **** teams, and the Nets, Knicks and Magic all qualify :-) Seriously, if we want to be in the playoffs, we can't let up in those games. We need Ws badly.

We need all 4 really. It's so tight at 5th to 9th right now. We need the 7th spot or better if we want any chance of advancing in the playoffs

You're right. Getting Chicago would help with the tie breaker as well. Ok, SVG, make it happen!

This team just isn't a real playoff team unfortunately. This season has proven that when it counts, nobody can be relied on to stand up. It's a shame. Reggie was the leader for us last year but that just isn't the case.
I'm not calling for a full rebuild, but svg needs to build around Harris and KCP now. Drummond can stay, but we need a legitimate leader to go with him. Reggie ain't it anymore
