No to the Rubio trade. We are struggling with just 4 decent scorers (with below average defense overall).

Man, am I crazy for wanting Zach Randolph here? He's one of the last true hardmen in the NBA anymore but he's also too "keepin it real" off the court it seems. But I also think Dre plays a little soft at times because he's scared - Boogie Cousins wanted nothing to do with Zach during a recent game between their respective teams.
Can't imagine Stan would want anything to so with Z-Bo unfortunately.
Leuer and Ellenson for Zach Randolph works. Henry makes up for them taking on Leuer's second year.
Randolph could play the five here right?
Jackson|Smith
Bradley|Galloway|Kennard
Johnson|(Harris)
Harris|Randolph|Tolliver
Drummond|Randolph|Marjanovic

I still like trying to get Chandler and Dudley while keeping SJ.

it's tough to work a trade for those two since they make a decent amount (~$23 million combined).
this is the most likely scenario:
leuer, boban and ellenson (we'd likely have to throw in a pick) for chandler and dudley.
you can exchange galloway for boban or SJ/kennard for ellenson but the point remains...
dudley and chandler are under contract next year, it's tough to tell if the suns would be willing to take on leuer (under contract for the next two season) in return.

A.Bradley and S.Johnson
for
Josh Jackson
why?
vet leadership and 3pt. shooting of Bradley, both guys play hard defense
why?
4 years of a guy with a high upside, saves money

H.Ellenson, B.Marjanovic
for
D.Favors
why?
Utah saves money this year and next and then the next year has just Ellenson who has good range next to Gobert.
why?
maybe Favors will bounce back more and maybe somehow fit next to Drummond. He'll certainly fit behind him.

I might be in the minority but I like Boban and think he brings that consistent scoring and rebounding... sure he lacks mobility but I think other teams will have to adjust more by doubling down.

T.Harris, J.Leuer
for
N.Batum
why?
Tobias is the best player. Allow J.Lamb and M.Monk to play/score more.
why?
Money. Batum might improve at offense and defense playing more at the 3/4.

Not sure Sac wants to tie up extra money for extra years but if Bowers can convince them you have my blessing for this deal.

His rebounding looks horrible to me.
I enjoy his offense and unique game but for a guy his size it's so frustrating watching him try to rebound.

Batums contract is horrible. Tobias is way better, less injury prone, younger and trending up.

Denver's getting wrecked. We'd need to include a first rounder going to them at least.

I was just thinking with George Hill being unhappy and the "leadership" roles not exactly working for the Kings, if there would be something that would be interesting with us.
George Hill / Randolph
for
Ish / Boban / Leuer / Galloway
It's a cap neutral deal, Hill gives us a 3rd guard who can shoot, he's massively overpaid for a 3rd guard, but basically we'd swap Leuer/Galloway's deals for him and he's an upgrade over those guys. Moving Galloway clears some PT for Kennard as well. I'm not sure if the salaries are high enough that we could take back Vince too, but he could also add some depth and a shooter at the 3. Kings get a little bit younger vets and clear out whatever is going on with Hill.

unfortunately SVG only wants jumpshooters and soft white guys

Denver wouldn't think for a second I'd say, they have no use for Boban whatsoever even if they could get him for free, so Chandler and Mudiay for SJ... just no way.

Time to blow this team up and fire SVG. He can't win with the roster he himself constructed after 4 years.
That is all.
