I don't like the Lakers, so dumping Reggie on them sounded like a good idea. Also, the 76ers just moved up to 1, and I doubt they'd want to give it up rather hastily. Anyway, it was just whimsical rhetoric.

Apologies is this isn’t allowed…but was taking a stroll down memory lane and thinking it would be fun to do this again!

Lots of people would have LOVED to have been able to get Josh Jackson and Dennis Smith Jr 4 years ago on draft night... Now we've got them and most people here don't really seem to want them.

Looking back it's really interesting to see how strong a consensus Fultz was.

People talk about it now as though they knew it was a WTF pick at the time.

Also interesting the total lack of attention to Adebayo- very interesting in hindsight. These pre-draft threads that are years old are always interesting time capsules of what the groupthink was at the time- not faulting anyone mind you- my track record is rough. I remember when we picked Rodney Stuckey I was upset (which was fair). Less impressive is that I wanted us to take Javaris Crittenton or Nick Young at the time.

One thing in this thread is seems nobody was high on Kennard. Fkn SVG.

Yeah of course same with Wiggins. Obv Ainge didnt like Fultz much. Its like in hindsight everyone knew.

Another guy who I notice every acts the same with was Bagley. I remember Bagley having tons of hype for being a freak athlete, and big time production, and lots of the internet sites ranked him very highly. Of course some people did have Luka 1 but it wasnt like Ayton and Bagley werent considered damn good prospects coming out.

I wasnt around for this but I liked Fultz to. Remember though Fultz problems were the "yips" and injuries. Hard to project injuries and weird mental problems.

I think looking back the two biggest indicators of Fultz being a bust were:

1. Free throw %-For a guy who had a good 3pt shot and was expected to be a knock down shooter 65% is really bad.

2. How bad his college team. They were 11th of 12th in the Pac 12 that season. 9-22 thats really really bad. You would expect the best player in the draft to have a better record then that regardless of whos around him.
