I know nothing about this guy from college. I must be confusing him with someone else.

IIRC this was the guy who was always making rushed fg attempts and boneheaded fouls/turnovers in SL. Can someone please contradict me on this? Otherwise I'll continue to scratch my head on this signing. Granted, it is the end of the bench but still...

I watched a good amount of UK and he's a stretch 4 that can shoot pretty good and was pretty decent there. Not sure I would expect much out of him besides becoming a Jerebko type but worth a shot I guess. He did look like poo at SL though.

Meh, thought he'd actually have a chance to make the team before SL, but he was extremely underwhelming there. Hopefully he can learn the system and turn himself into a decent specialist one day

He was a 4 year player for Kentucky, which is obviously pretty rare for them. Some might see that as a positive or a negative. I'd be surprised if he got a 2 way contract, seems like he'll spend the year in Grand Rapids after camp.

Meh. I was hoping for much better quality with these new two way contracts. This guy showed nothing during SL.

Not a 2-way contract, just an affiliate signing aka Grand Rapids... basically just a camp invite.

This one confuses me...he was never even that thrilling in college. Where is the upside? I was really hoping they would focus more on players with more potential.

This is an interesting move by the scouting team. They see something in that player that others don't. Our scouting team is really good, it's just our development that needs work. I'm not sure if his contract is fully guaranteed. This could be a move just for camp and he's out. You can have more than 15 players in the offseason until end of camp. I don't imagine he stays on the team past camp.

Big who can shoot 3s, who no one will probably claim when we cut him...then he eventually goes to Grand Rapids.

Weirdest thing to me is that he actually made to "Senior" at Kentucky.

Has little to do with this, but Matt Costello got a 2 way contract with the Spurs. I never thought he would even sniff the NBA.
