I can see that. Charlotte might get the 7th or 8th spot depending on injuries.

1. Wiz
2. Cavs
3. Raps
4. Celtics
5. Heat
6. Bucks
7. Pistons
8. Hornets
I can see Celtics and Cavs going through a learning curve with their revamped rosters, and Cavs taking it easy at certain stretches. The Raptors and Wiz won't have the learning curve, and could start the season off hot. I see Otto Porter having a big season, and Wall having an MVP-caliber year. The Cavs are still the best team in the East though, regardless of seeding.
Outside of the top 4, I see 5-8 going either way with the teams above. I think Miami will be a sneaky good team that will get wins against bad East teams. In contrast, I see the Pistons having a bounce back season of sorts, but question whether they can play with 100% effort every night, especially on the road.
I think Philly is still a year away from becoming a good team, but have them flirting with a playoff birth.

Honestly my expectations are low enough that Its pretty difficult to be disappointed. Really I'd be just content to enjoy watching pistons games again. I definitely did in the stretch where Ish was starting last season.

We're only really talking about the Pistons. We don't really care where anyone else is ranked. It's Cleveland, Boston, then everyone else picking up the scraps anyways.
Our range is 6 (in a best case scenario) to 11 (in a worst case scenario). The reality usually lands somewhere in between. We'll probably finish 8th or 9th.
The only team I scratch my head on in regards to expectations is Philly. A rookie PG who hasn't shown he can run an offense, a rookie SF/PF who can't shoot that's coming off a year of zero basketball activity, and the resident Mr. Glass, Joel Embiid who's a legitimate blue chipper when healthy, but has played an average of 10 games per season in 3 years.

I think with all the roster change over for Cleavland and especially Boston, Washington can be in play for a top spot. Torontos continuity may help them as well but I've never been impressed by them.
