Per SVG
Johnson is more Mature and the coaching staff as a whole has noticed
Kennard is SVG baboy
Henry Ellenson looks to be ready for minutes
RJ and LG will be playing in tomorrows 5 on 5.
Also quote from Johnson i found interesting to likes of
"Last season I was hesitant to speak up because no one wanted to step on anyones toes, it'll be different this season"
I also found it interesting that AB and AT have changed our locker room culture. Seems to be a expectation of defensive toughness that AB is leading the way. Also Kennard and SJ seems to be learning by playing against and listening to AB. Seems SVG may know wha the's doing

What is a baboy again?
This almost has a positive, hopeful tone, but I won't rebuke you.

Did anyone add 20 LBS of muscle?

It sounds like Stanley, Kennard, and Ellenson will be in the mix for minutes this year. I doubt SVG finds minutes for all 3 but i wouldnt be surprised if 2 of 3 are in the rotation. Obviously, Stanley will be (at least intially) but the other two are wildcards.

I can't see ellenson getting anything other than garbage minutes, but Stanley will see a big jump in minutes. Kennard is a wildcard for sure. His shooting would be a welcome change.

No, not a one. SJ and AD are both reportedly lighter!? Ellenson is said to have weight trained a lot and improved strength, but no mention of added weight. Probably no point in watching.

SJ and dre definitely worked on their bodies this summer. Way more lean this year. Ellenson looks about the same, but its pretty hard to see "lower body strength" in a photo.
And not to wish injuries on anyone, but Galloway being out has given Kennard some valuable camp minutes as the clear cut backup 2. Hopefully he can hold on to that spot once Galloway and RJ are back in the scrimmages.

Only player I think who might have got bigger is Jon Leuer - he looks a bit thicker in his upper body, and given he wore out last season and is expected to play more center this season it might have been his intent to get bigger.

Near the end of this clip, Stan says that Luke and SJ were arguably the 2 best players in the scrimmage yesterday.
http://www.nba.com/pistons/video/teams/pistons/2017/09/28/1645125/1506630456745-wired-training-camp-day-3-1645125* By the way, the Pistons website is weak. No other team website covers training camp as poorly as ours. Other sites have daily practice notes, daily analyst reactions & reports on practice, video from practice, photos from practice.... All we get is 2 minutes of the coach answering questions, with music playing in the background. Same issue with media day. Every other team site posted full video of every player press conference. The Pistons site only gave little minute blip highlights of some interviews, again with music playing in the background.

I agree with the official site, but also even with coverage in general. Beat coverage is brutal as well. I just get the feeling there is no excitement around the team or the move downtown at all. Local coverage has been decimated over the years, and we don't register on the national level so it's like we're invisible.

It's a hard thing to market especially without a superstar. Some people started to take notice after the playoffs but they really have to rebound their image after last seasons mess.

"rebound their image after last seasons mess"
Or the last decades mess. Being bad for this long has consequences. Hie hard fans show up and tune in, but that's about it.
On a coverage note.... how many people here pay for a daily newspaper subscription? Someone has to pay for beat reporters.

I support them through likes and retweets... if only those paid the bills

If Ellenson, Kennard, and SJ only see limited minuets this year I'm going to be pissed. All three should see at least 18mpg, and SJ should absolutely be starting.
I don't care about Langston, Tolliver, or any other vet on the team. I want a rotation of
RJ/ish
Bradley/Kennard
SJ/
Ellenson/Leuer
Drummond/Boban
Leuer and ellenson can be switched but I demand the young guys get time to see what the hell they are. Sick of having picks and they never see the floor. What exactly is the point? Trade them all for proven talent if they are not going to play FFS.
