This is the type of trade we need to be looking for imo

Griffin is the face of the franchise over there, just signed the new contract, no way they let him go, and certainly not for few bench players. Leuer for LeBron would be even better, but equally possible imo. :D

Well clearly Leuer is not the centerpiece of that trade. Harris and picks are. Leuer can be a good role player and Ellenson is a nice prospect. I would throw in 2 1st rounders to make that happen. Of course, Griffin is indeed the franchise there but I could easily see LAC blowing that team up if they show they are mediocre, which is a likely possibility considering how strong the West is. Obviously, if they are good they won't consider that but I'm just saying, that is the type of trade we need to make whether it's for Griffin or another quality PF.

A guy I think that could not only move the needle but would actually compliment Dre, Tobias & AB:

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

1 - would bring needed D to the forward rotation

2 - fits the new NBA as far as size goes being a 3/4

3 - brings the same qualities AB brings as far as personality type

4 - think his time in Charlotte is coming to an end

5 - Hornets might look to pull a Hawks tank mission sooner rather than later.

6 - I don't think the assets required would be too steep

Pretty bad offensively though, seems like a Winslow/Stanley Johnson type

Yeah but you're not getting a superstar here regardless so it's all about the "sum of their parts"

A forwars rotation where MKG, Tobias & SJ can all log 30+ minutes could be glorious in a couple of years...or not.
