Say by the trade deadline we can't find a starting Sg for our scraps, reggie is healthy, would you taken on the Noah contract for a 2018 first rounder and a future pick swap?

:wavefinger: I don't even like thinking about that Noah contract much less it belonging to the Pistons.

Long story short, I think I'd want more than the Knicks would be willing to give.

I’d do that but I doubt Knicks would. They’d just buy Noah out over giving up a lottery pick. Besides they’d get no relief by taking on Leuer and LG. Bad deal for Knicks.

As an owner, considering the front office's drafting record....hell no.

That's fair, but in this good draft, can you really mess up that bad?

I dont think so, Noah is not return to team cause of beef and its already been put out there that they are willing to give up a 2018 first rounder to get ride of him. Two role players for a guy that never going to wear a Knicks jersey again. Plus with only two years left of his deal I would tell him to ride off into the sunset if he acts wierd and stretch his last year or trade his expiring.

Never believe what you read. Knicks are in no position to give up that pick.

I think they are damned if they, do damned if they don't, they aren't going to lose Porzingis because they are going to offer the max and he is going to be forced to sign it in restricted free agency just like Jimmy butler was with Chicago. They can't keep Noah on the team and pay him so they are going to punt and give up a pick, which is the only thing they can afford. But you may also be right, have to wait and see.

God I would love to add that pick but the thought of being stuck with that Noah contract trying to add one more piece to be a Eastern Conference contender seems impossible

So we trade one of the 6 wings we have to swap our 8th pf/c? No thank you. Draft picks do nothing for me. We have 3 we are trying to develop right now.

I would say no. Would need more compensation.
Galloway, right now, is needed. After trading for griffin we have no choice but to aim for the playoffs and this deal doesn't help.

Swapping Noah for Leuer would probably be a huge deal breaker for the Knicks.
