This will be a damning loss if we eat it today. Hopefully the ball isn't as sticky today, and the Pistons actually play defense, opposed to just talking about it in the post-game interview.

This is easy win.

(Also one of the few games I get to see live on International League Pass since it airs 10:30 pm in my time zone.)

Who wants to set the odds of a James Ennis III sighting?

I think SVG said he should be cleared to play today. I'd expect him to get some run off the bench. Maybe not big minutes, but they can use a backup SF right now. Tolly was out of gas at the end of the Clippers game.

I'm not sure how many minutes can be shaved from ATs share without getting Moreland or Ellenson in the game. Reviewing the numbers, Tolliver only played 23 minutes. SVG is splitting all PF & C minutes between Blake, Andre & AT.
Bullock played 40 minutes so 10-12 minutes from Ennis could keep him a little fresher.

SVG said a few games ago he wanted to limit AT minutes at 24 or less.

First road game for Blake... Feels almost like a must win with how other teams in the playoffs have been looking lately and the moves they have made.

Griffin has been good for us, no doubt, but he has also struggled a lot at times. Sometimes his post up attempts are just as bad as Drummond's. I want to see Griffin as our primary post up player with Drummond running DHOs or P&Rs only. We also need to be the best rebounding team and better defensive team every night. Period. Hopefully our guys realize this and start playing to their strengths.

My only complaint is he shoots too many 3s now. But on the flip side he does need to add that to his game now that he doesn't have those young legs to power his way at the rim consistently

Glad we are on the road so we can stop hearing about how empty our stadium is

I agree. I would actually prefer if he took more midranged jumpers. Sometimes he just dribbles into too much congestion in the paint where a simple midrange jumper would be fine.

When will teams learn that we go to Bullock on every single opening play?

I'm in no way suggesting Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge are the same player but watching the SanAntonio game made me appreciate LMAs post up game.
I can't remember if he's always been like this or if it's Popavich related but he either makes his post up move or passes the ball quickly. Blake seems to hold the ball so long ala a PF version of Reggie Jackson.
I was also under the impression Blake could post up a little further away like Rasheed & Dyess but he always seems intent on trying to draw a foul in the paint.
