Jameer Nelson takes 12 shots and is 1-6 from three.. Luke Kennard finally got to play and made the only three he took. I'm just so sick of SVG.

Literally all you can hope for in this season now is we beat up on the Hawks in our next one and really find a way to play better together after the long break.

That and for another team to start sucking which seems to be the other problem is no one else is losing.

Top 4 which is funny cause that kind of protection they knew losing out like crazy to the 4th spot or winning the lottery was a good possibility too.

Of course we would just lose and gift wrap them the 5th pick with our luck

Other than Ish's occasional flashes, both him and Jameer are horrible though. Reggie is at least an NBA player.

I feel like Ish would be fine as a 14 to 16 MPG backup PG that has other players around him that can shoot the ball.

I'm not hating on RJ here. I'm just being realistic. His return isn't going to make a significant difference to this mess.

Yeah, he'd do better when he doesn't have to defend starting PGs.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather start Kennard / Bullock / SJ / Griffin / Drummond

Let Stanley defend the PGs (though I don't think Bullock/Luke would be worse than Ish/Jameer). Guys like Stanley, Blake, and Luke can get the ball in their hands more to create, plus we've got our two best shooters on the floor.

Ish, Stanley, Drummond, and Blake are just too many guys that teams can cheat off of to pack the paint.

He was good the first couple of months, but was starting to descend. Maybe his knee was starting to bother him again. Was playing better pg than last year, and was shooting better, too. But still stunk on D and still loved playing hero. He was playing better than Ish is now, I'll grant you that. But this isn't Lebron we're pining for.

He plays hero because you aren't gonna feed Dre in the post. Bradley wasn't decent unless he got a catch-and-shoot three. Tobias disappears in crunch time. And Stanley is Stanley.

Besides, Reggie was pretty decent at playing hero.

His D was also a lot better this year. Especially if you're comparing him to Ish and Jameer.

Most importantly, he's a threat. Dudes guarding Ish get to stand in the paint and take swipes at Blake and Dre all night because everyone knows Ish can't shoot. Reggie doesn't need to be Lebron to make this team quite a bit better.
