The problem is we need to win a lot of games for that 8th seed.

Tonight and Wednesday are must-win games for playoff hopes. No hyperbole.

They're now 3 games behind Philly and Indy in the loss column, and 2 behind Miami (but Miami has 3 more wins than we do). There are only 25 games remaining after the all-star break. When your last 3 games before the break are Hawks, Pelicans, Hawks, you really need to finish 3-0. If they win these next two and finish 2-1, they're still alive. Otherwise, forget it.

Anyone else remember when Davis dropped over 60 on us last year? Yeah, that was fun.

Agreed. Definitely not hyperbole. After the all star break, the schedule gets very difficult, with most of our games on the road. It doesn't knock us out of the playoffs, but it makes the climb up the mountain that much more difficult. Integrating Griffin has been less than seamless. To nobody's surprise, with a hack coach.

At this point, a best case scenario (however improbable) would be missing the playoffs, landing a top 3 pick in the lottery and SVG getting fired for his continued failure. Come into next season with Blake fully integrated in the offense, a top 3 pick, and a fresh new coach that can actually put our players in position to succeed.

at least we get to watch a real superstar tonight.

this is an absolute must win. high pressure game. we need to respond correctly. we blew the last two so we need to start strong tonight.

As expcted, after 2 losses, LCA is way more empty than usual, if that's even possible.

That's how it is at the beginning of each game. There's a large open area at the LCA so there's a lot to see and to do. People are out there before the game and then they go down and the pathway to the seats are long so there's no wait. I actually really like the Arena. The product is different though. **** Pistons. Let's Go! WIN

can't say i'm excited to see drummond guarding davis all game and blake chasing mirotic around the three point line... i've noticed that blake is not the best at chasing shooters and closing out on them.

Last game Andre was the one doing the chasing and Blake guarding the Center most of the time. Whenever Blake had to guard Muscala it was a disaster.

Oh, SVG wants Blake to get ball not more than two steps to the rim! Not on 3-point line.

They have 2 PGs, a 6'4 guy playing SF and an ancient (probably 50 yo already) very slow guy starting for them. If we lose this game I'll get really mad.
