Finally something to be excited about this offseason. Make or break on finding the right coach to work for this core of players though. Gores has to get the right guy in there. Will be interested in seeing any reactions from Pistons players either on Twitter or in the media.

Damage already done. They have Blake griffin untradeable contract. He’s still got 4 years on contract.

Nothing is changing unless Gores changes his approach.

Heard Brent Barry is a candidate for the coaching job. I'm thinking Billups will get interview for GM. Lots of Pistons affiliates. I want Budenholzer though.

Lets hire the lady assistant from the Spurs, it at least would make the team relevant for a couple of years.

Brent is being considered for the front Office not for a coaching job as far as I understand. I like Brent on TV seems always on the money. How that will translate to a real job would be an interesting question.
Things need to move fast now. Coaching candidates are disappearing and the GM will have to be in place before we hire one

Despite all I’m sorry to see Stan go. I have a lot of respect for SVG

Lol this is such a Pistons move...if this was the road they were going to take...it should have happened weeks ago, and now they're talking about retaining people from the SVG era...lol like wtf

Yes, damage has been done, but with good coaching, this roster could work. Nothing wrong with having Drummond & Griffin together if there's a coach who knows what he's doing.

I agree. If Gores bought into the Blake trade, then it seems like he should have let it play out next season. If he wasn't going to lt it play out, then we shouldn't have done the trade to begin with.

Regardless, Gores does want results, and we were not getting them, so changes are being made. Excited again :-)

SVG is out but Gores is still the worst owner in sports at the moment.

Gores is still the worst owner in sports, but at least now, - he knows it.

Hopefully he's going to get someone in here with some sense!

A better GM and a better COACH, either way, this team is better off without SVG.

Sort of how I feel. I'm glad he's gone but don't have a ton of confidence going forward.

Its good that the move is done. But how Gores handled it all, makes me further realize how messed up the Pistons are.
