Pistons at draft combine

Apparently the team is focusing on point guards and is putting players through virtual reality simulations to assess their floor vision, and decision/read-making abilities.

Makes sense. That’s a flimsy position for us with Ish expiring and Reggie perpetually hurt.

VR helped Andre improve in FT% by a whopping 3.1% when he used it in the summer of 2016.

Kudos to anyone summoning enough interest to care about what future washout we pick at 42.

"Here's a program you've never engaged in and was not prepared for. We're going to judge your future in the NBA based on how you perform in it right now with zero preparation!"

Sounds about on par with Pistons talent evaluation.

We only have a second round pick which means we should be trying to find the highest potential/skilled player we can regardless of position. This team is fundamentally flawed. I know it’s only a second round pick but still, you swing for the fences on a pick like this.

We have been drafting as much talent in the 2nd round as we've been in the lottery. Jerebko (he was a starter for us and before his injury he was good) Khris Middleton, Spencer Dinwiddie (both starting for rival teams).

While in the lottery we got Drummond Kennard and KCP (and he inconsistent and not really good) to go with sub par selections in Brandon Knight (should be out of the league), Stanley Johnson (not even close of being starter material), Greg Monroe (not playing much and not a starter) and Austin Daye (out of the league).
