Since the hire means trying to win in the playoffs, do you think the Pistons would want Evan Fournier?

He's a solid shooter, and underrated creator, and only 25. The Magic would want Kennard and would be willing to take on Leuer's contract to make the salaries work. Would the Pistons go for this?

I'd say yes if you take Galloway too. Idk how good Fournier is and what his contract is like

As tempting as it may be to be rid of Leuer and/or Galloway and their ridiculous contracts, I'm not giving up Kennard for Fournier. Especially with Kennard being on a rookie contract and Fournier making $68 mil over the next four years.

With Kennard no Maybe a Fournier/Simmons for Leuer/Galloway/Johnson deal i would but not with Kennard in the deal

Our cap situation is horrendous.

I realize we're unloading Leuer here, and that helps, but Kennard is on a rookie deal and under team control for a few more years. That's just way too valuable for us to let go of here given how much we're overpaying some of our other players.

No. Leuer will be back-up PF with no more center minutes. He'll get 25mpg playing with Dre or Griff. SVG is gone, likely meaning Tolly is gone - if he wasn't because of cap issues already. Fournier just makes our cap situation worse given he's a year longer than Leuer.

yeah with our cap situation we can't afford to take on more salary than we're dishing out.

leuer (~$10 mil) and kennard (~$3.3 mil) are considerably cheaper than fournier ($17 mil) and whatever additional player we'd need to sign.

plus, kennard showed potential towards the end of last season and if leuer can get back to his level of play from 2017 then i'd rather have those two, even though i do like fournier.

K how bout Leuer and Galloway for Fournier and we call it a day

Not a chance. We cannot afford to lose what little young talent we have in exchange for a defensive sieve on a bad contract.

Bizmark is one of the worst contracts in the entire league. No chance in hell would I do this deal.

Not like Orlando is gonna turn in to a powerhouse anytime soon. If you guys choose to rebuild this is a great option + Biz is an amazing tank commander. If you guys choose to head to the playoffs this is horrendous. Haha.

Why would you want Kennard? He's no Donovan Mitchell!
