He was great at Texas Tech, I remember him from the tournament.
Seems alright for a 2way player

Interesting, I see a lot of stuff from a few days ago about him signing a two-way deal with Golden State...

I know nothing about him, but I wouldn't be surprised if our strategy was: "Golden State has a great scouting department. Let's just steal a player off their summer league team with a 2-way contract."
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Solid Buycks replacement and more guard depth, he is good at attacking the basket and can hit some threes.

Seems like Stefanski has the same obsession Dumars had with undersized "combo" guards. Not really big enough for the 2, but too light on playmaking and court-vision to really be a PG.

This guy likely goes more the Luis Montero path than the Dwight Buycks path.

Man, if we were going to use two-way contracts on UDFA's there was much more upside potential ones to get. I guess it would allow us to not pick up Buycks option and gives us his money to spend.

Rather have him than Felder or Hearn though.

It's a different game now than when Dumars was making those decisions. If this kid plays a minute with the team this year, we're in real trouble anyways and lottery bound. He's literally behind Jackson, Ish, Kennard, Galloway, Thomas and Brown here on the guard depth chart.

He's a pure G-League signing. I wonder if this was a Malik Rose guy even.

I hadn't thought about it maybe being a Rose guy, good observation. That would have the move make more sense, seeing as how this guy is about as blocked as anybody could get and he was signed the day after Rose officially came aboard.

After originally committing to play in the NBA Summer League with Golden State and Atlanta, former Texas Teach guard Keenan Evans has agreed to a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Maybe Malik did had some influence on this. Would love the Pistons to communicate how personnel decisions are being handled now a days..

I'm a fan of this kid. Was great against Florida in the tourney:

With Ish out several weeks, we should be getting a look at this guy soon.

He can't be too much worse than Calderon the corpse.

I think we could see Lofton before Evans.

Perhaps, but Lofton seems like a pure wing type. I would think if Lofton was in the short term plans, they would have brought him up while Kennard was out. If Bullock continues to miss time, maybe we'll see him.

With Reggie and Calderon the only PG's, the need for Evans is much higher. That said, I know nothing about him other than he's listed as a PG. Maybe his game is more of a 2, like I said I have no idea.
