At a Malibu mansion. 'Young Thug' performed. As did Drummond. Blake posted a pic captioned, "our owner is better than yours."

I have to give Gores the benefit of the doubt about caring. Any of us who remember the Karen period knows not caring looks different. Tom is a little over blunt and expressionless, so it's not as obvious as with Cuban that he's a fan. I'm beginning to wonder if Gores is just a Pistons' fanboy 'made good' who gets to own the team? He's 'livin the dream.' :D

Yeah, screw this dude for going out of his way, spending his $$$ to get the players together to have a good time during the offseason...

I guess I'd rather have an owner who will spend some bucks and time to make his players happier and at least give an indication he gives a damn.

I'd rather have an owner who wasn't charging people in jail a buck a minute to call their kids or parents.

NBA players are more social aware and active - and yet you have Gores making money as part of the Prison Industrial Complex.

I think Gores is for the most part a good owner, he just hasn't picked the right guys to run his team for him. He knows he's not an expert, so he hires guys who he thinks are, such as SVG and it didn't work out, but I don't think it was because he didn't give SVG the resources and support he needed from the owner's side of things. THe only bad thing about Gores, is that he doesn't live in Detroit, he's not really a good speaker, and he doesn't attend that many games, other than that I think the Pistons could have done much worse.

we need Lebron to start a movement to get this piece of sh^t to sell the team. Gilbert can get involved in his sneaky and slimy ways too. I pray that it's only a matter of time until this wannabe hollywood d-bag has nothing to do with this former first class organization.

There is a great article and discussion on this over at DBB right now - https://www.detroitbadboys.com/2018/9/16/17866686/the-kool-aid-stand-tom-gores-will-make-the-ethical-public-image-based
