It's kind of amazing how they've managed to make the Motor City jersey worse in every incarnation since its inception. I also don't understand the continued insistence on navy, which isn't even in the color scheme. Why not bring these back instead:

Honestly who the **** is creating our jerseys? Usually I try to refrain from swearing in posts but it’s a complete and utter joke every jersey we have put out for the past 5 years. It’s as if a competitions been held for the “worst possible jersey design” and the winner gets to see it worn by the team. None of it has been original, creative or interesting. The original Motor City jerseys weren’t bad but they were far from being great. Why can’t we try something different like an alternative jersey which is a modern take on our old Teal jerseys, or even the alternative red jersey like Jnewton said. We need something that’s fun, unique and fitting for today’s times, not these boring and washed out looks that always seem to be chosen. Heck, why can’t we have a design competition and go for that? Can’t be worse than what we have

racing stripes are ok once you realize they're racing stripes

I think some of us miss the part where the Jersey is representative of their city/area. only other option would have been a ren cen skyline jersey. cars are the identity of this team and area so don't be shocked when the Jersey is related to the name of the
team as well.

It gets worse - they're BLACK -

LA guy Gores goes played out gimmicky as hell black for uniforms should surprise absolutely NOBODY.

And tell me this doesn't look like a Raiders inspired logo -

It's a uniform. That scheme certainly makes me think of the Spurs, but I guess there are no rules about that. I know some hated them, but I always like the deep blue Motor City unis.

I dunno. Who buys any jerseys? I know minor league hockey jersey and minor league baseball hat collecting is a thing to a subset of collectors.
